The sky was fading from orange to purple again. I sat on the swing, humming to distract myself from the pain as Bakugo hiked back from his house. All of the adrenaline had officially worn off, leaving me with intense, zapping pain in half my face. So, I was more than grateful to see the other teen show up.

"I don't know why you won't just go to a d### hospital...but here." He handed me a case of pills and a water bottle. "It isn't very strong, but it should bring down the pain a little bit."

I gladly grabbed both, my hands shaking a little by this point. "Th-anks... Maybe now I can finally sleep... I...jus-just don't want to see the looks on my parents' faces when they see me..like this..."

"Hm..." Bakugo waddled over to a rusty old teeter-totter and sat down on it. He was clearly a lot more used to just sitting around and being bored by now. I swallowed a few pills and downed some water, then set both aside and returned to the swing. I just sat on it, however, unlike before.

"Kinda strange how the sky changes colors depending where you are. The sunset was a little pinker while we were on those road trips." I commented.

"...Huh..." The other teen just mused for a moment, staring with me at the sky as the sun gradually fell over the trees. Then his head turned back to me for a second. "You can't expect to become a hero with such trashy reflexes."

I frowned. "Now what am I supposed to do about that?! Be born in a different body?!"

"You seriously think that's all it takes to have fast reflexes? Being born that way??"

"We-well... It was always implied that was the case."

"I'll show you how to improve tomorrow. Alright??"

I stared at the back of the boy's head for a moment, astonished by the sudden generosity of him. Alas, I smirked. "Sounds good."

"Now go to sleep already!" He growled again -- though at this point every word he mutters sounds like a growl -- "..Can't even look at you with that raisin face."

"..You could say my face finally matches my hair."

"I'm not in the mood to hear that crap."

"Oh..." Funny, I expected him to at least chuckle. "Well.." I rose from the swing and walked further away, sliding underneath some old playground equipment.

"Oh, and also I got you your hat." I heard as a soft object hit my side. Grabbing it, I saw it was the same hat I kept buying over and over again just for the pleasure of wearing. I smiled faintly down at it. Gently, I slid the hat over my entire head; even my face so the remaining sunlight was blocked out.

"Alright." I spoke through the woven cloth. "Guess I'll..." I lifted the hat to reveal the good side of my face one last time. I stared for a moment at Bakugo, just trying to get a good read of what was even going on with him. This boy was near impossible to read when he acted like this, unlike most. The other teen sat, one leg also on the teeter-totter so an elbow of his could be set on it. He stared towards the sunset, an eternally stoic-like frown chiseled into his features. The little wind brushing against his thick head of spiky hair. He was...hard to look away from. Almost like he was some kind of tragic main character in an anime..

I stood again and walked over to the teen. Bakugo turned his face a smidge when he heard my steps. He said nothing. Just scanned me quickly until his dark red eyes landed on the hat covering the bad half of my face. Huffing, he returned his gaze to the overgrown small field of tall grass, line of trees behind that, and the sunset itself beyond that. I sat down beside him on the ground with my legs crossed.

"How did you know I was here of all places anyways?"

"I didn't. I just heard you talking about old playgrounds once and so decided to check the closest one out."
