- what the hell is your problem? I exclaimed.

- I could ask you the same question.

- as far as I know, I'm not the one who just dislocated your shoulder for no apparent reason.

- May I ask who this man is?

- I told you, my father sent him as backup, he's here on business, he's a family friend. I answered.

- Well, that's strange, considering that you've been dating for three years, and I heard you were even engaged.

- But how do you know that?

- Giuliana talks, a lot.

- But why do you care so much? I end up asking.

He didn't answer.

I moved closer to him and put a hand on his chest.

- Look, I don't know why you're doing this, but you have to stop. You can't go crazy like that every time a man comes around me. Especially because men love to hang around me. I said as calmly as possible.

He didn't answer, he just took my hand.

- See you tonight, at Ada's birthday. I said with a smile before leaving the room.

That was really very strange. But never mind.

- What happened? asked Emiliano as soon as I returned.

- Nothing very important, business related. I lied.

He didn't believe me for a second, I could see it in his eyes.

Friday, January 21, 7 pm, Birmingham, England.

Emiliano and I arrive at Thomas's house, where the party is being held. Tonight is Ada's twenty-ninth birthday. I put on the black dress that is quite close to the body, i bought earlier this afternoon.

I don't know why, but I'm feeling a little stressed about seeing Tommy, after what happened earlier.

We entered the room, which was very nicely decorated. There must have been at least a hundred people there, I didn't know Ada had so many friends. I looked for her, but I couldn't find her, so I went to the bar followed by Emiliano.

- It's me or this dress fits you even better than this morning! said Polly who had just entered the room.

- Isn't she drop dead gorgeous? said Emiliano, making me blush.
