It was a long day for both you and Devon. It was raining and you walked into the Daisy Mart. You took off the hood and fixed your hair and went over to your boyfriend who was looking at you. He smiled slightly at you and you smiled slightly back. You walked over to Devon as he rings up a customer.
"$15.25 is your total." Devon says to the other teen. You learn on the counter as you sign. Devon looks over at you as he hands the person their change.
"What's wrong babe?" Devon says to his gloomy girlfriend as the customer walks out of the store leaving them alone.
"Nothing, it's just been a long day..." You put your head down and listen to the rain hit the window and Devon's quiet breathing.
"What happened?" Devon says quietly as he stares at you. You look up at your boyfriend.
"I got in a fight with a customer and my boss threatened to fire me." You say as you stare intensely at Devon. Devon puts his hand on yours and slightly laughs. He pulls you closer and kisses your forehead.
"It's going to be okay hun." He says as he puts his head in your neck as he hugs you. You hum slightly and hug him back.
"I know..."
