PHILOSOPHER.
Chapter 10.
╚═══════════✧₊∘╝Mattheo and Lorenzo made a big show of trying to cheer Delphini up when they see her in the Hospital Wing on Monday morning.
Delphini laughs as she watches Mattheo act out scenes from his favourite books, trying to explain them to Lorenzo, but failing slightly.
They manage to brighten up Delphini's mood a little during visiting hours, and even get a little chuckle out of Pansy Parkinson still being bed-ridden with boils, but eventually they have to head to their classes.
To make the day even worse, the announcement for the first Flying class would be starting on Thursday afternoon, and all of the Slytherin students would have the lessons together with Gryffindor, while Ravenclaw would have the lesson at the same time with Hufflepuff.
"Great, that's just what I need, to make a tit of myself on a broom in front of Malfoy and his gang" Mattheo grumbles. Flying has been the one lesson that he's actually been looking forward to.
"You'll be fine" Lorenzo tells Mattheo. "And you just know that Malfoy is going to be crap at flying. I know he always boasts about how he can outfly his servants, but do you honestly think they're telling him the truth" Lorenzo informs Mattheo.
Draco certainly did like to talk about flying. When they first met he was trying to convince his parents to by him a Nimbus 2000 broom. Draco often liked to brag that he's weaved in between helicopters before. Seamus Finnigan likes to brag that he's flown around the countryside on a broom his whole childhood, even Lorenzo tells tales about him and Ron almost hitting a hand glider once.
Quidditch is the game that most of the magical families seem to love talking about. Mattheo and Frey often feel like they're left out of the conversation in their little group. Lorenzo goes on about the Chudley Cannons being his favourite team, and Artemis would rather eat glass that learn how to play Quidditch.
Neville Longbottom has avoided brooms his entire life, mainly because his gran fears for how clumsy that he can be.
Hermione Granger decided to bury her head in a book to learn about flying. A few little tips and tricks.
Mattheo and Lorenzo head down to breakfast just as the owl post begins to arrive. Neither of them have had much mail since Hagrid's letter, something that Malfoy has been quick to notice, and he continues to get big packages of sweets from home.
There seems to be a great deal of commotion at the Gryffindor table at something that Neville had received by owl post.
Mattheo and Lorenzo seem to be the only Slytherins that are allowed anywhere near the Gryffindor table.
Mattheo jumps over the table so he can take a seat next to Harry and Dean Thomas. Lorenzo sits between Ron and Percy.
Neville is holding a small glass sphere in his hands. "It's a Remembrall, my Gran knows that I'm always forgetting things. If it turns red then you've forgotten something..." Neville begins to tell the group, his face falls slightly when he sees that the glass sphere has filled with red smoke.
"That's so cool" Mattheo chuckles. He loves seeing all of the strange magic inventions. "What have you forgotten?" Mattheo asks, curious of how it works. It doesn't come with any sort of clue as to what Neville's forgotten.
