After Cassie's birthday they didn't do much other than walk the streets of Austin or hang out at Schlatts. Somehow, by the luck of everything, whenever Schlatt was noticed by fans Cassie and Evelyn weren't around so Cassie stayed a secret. It's not like she had to be but it was just easier that way. It made their lives easier with not having to worry about fans or creeps on the internet trying to find Cassie or anything like that. There was one thing he could do, stream. Finally after two and a half weeks of them being there he could stream with Evelyn. He decided to do it after Cassie had gone to bed and just keep the volume quieter. "Hello chat. I am Jschlatt. I grew my hair, do you like it." Evelyn joked acting as if she was Schlatt.
"You gotta read the subs." Schlatt whispered off screen. He could still be heard.
"What the heck are subs?" She turned to him giggling. Schlatt started laughing as he walked into frame.
"Hi chat. I'm the real Schlatt."
"Guys, don't believe him. He's an impostor."
"Oh god. You have no idea what you just unleashed." Schlatt rubbed his face. Evelyn moved into the extra chair next to Schlatt so he could sit in his regular one. "You're probably wondering who this strange woman is. Well, she broke into my house. But she's very pretty so I'm letting her stay."
"I'm only here for my looks? The audacity. You all watch this man when he streams?"
"I mean you're a good kisser too, darling." He said before pecking her on the lips.
"You have been forgiven." She smiled. They talked with the audience for a while, ignoring anything that had to do with Evelyn's personal life that could cause her to be doxed or anything like that. "Why is your office so cold? I'm stealing one of your hoodies." She said running out of the office and to his bedroom.
"See chat. She's great. One of the best people I know, she's just fun to be around. I swear when I'm with her it's like my mood just increases ten times over. She's just, ugh, she's so amazing." Schlatt ranted as he read his chat. Evelyn walked back in, his hoodie just barely covering her ass.
"Chat I am here to save you from the simp. Yes, I am also a simp. So you're not really saved, just under new management." She smiled sitting down. "We should watch Megamind while I'm here. Such a good movie. I'm sure c- you'll love it." She quickly saved. They talked for a little while longer, along with watching some TikTok's, before they heard Cassie. She'd woken up.
"Mommy?" Schlatt caught it in time and muted right when he heard the 'm'. Evelyn quickly excused herself and walked out into the living room.
"Hey, baby. What're you doing up?" She asked picking up her daughter.
"Bad dream." She said burying her face into Evelyn's neck. "I went to your room, but you weren't there. I got scared."
"Oh, baby. I'm sorry I was helping Jay with something in his office. Wanna go back to bed?"
"Can I sleep with you and Jay? I don't wanna sleep alone."
"Of course. Let me go tell him real quick." She said and set Cassie down who went to go wait in the bedroom. Once she opened the office she asked if Schlatt was muted. He double checked then nodded. "Cassie had a bad dream. She wants to sleep with us tonight. You finish your stream, take your time there's no rush." She walked over.
"Okay, I'll be in there in a second. Say bye and I'll finish up on my own." Evelyn nodded and he unmuted.
"Bye guys. I'm tired so imma go to bed. Mwah mwah." She blew kisses to the camera before kissing Schlatt's forehead and leaving the room. Once she got into the bedroom she laid down next to Cassie, who immediately clung to her. She kissed the top of her head before falling asleep herself, she didn't realize how tired she was.
Schlatt finished his stream and stretched in his chair before standing up. After he turned off his monitors he walked into his bedroom and melted at the sight. After climbing into bed and wrapping his arms around the two it didn't take long for him to fall asleep either.
