Ch. 7 Gaye Holodh?

*Tulsipur*

"Chote Malik, haweli pohoch gaye. Chote Malik? Chote malik? CHOTE MALIK?"

"H-Haa kya hua driver chilla kyu rahe ho."

"Hum haweli pohoch gaye h."

"O-o-oh."

He got off from the car and went inside. As soon as he entered, he was bombarded by Somnath. 

"Dada, itni der kaise lag gyi apko? Kuch socha apne ki kya karoge? Boudi ko kaise manaoge? Gift? Mene kaha tha na apse unke liye koi accha gift le ana? Dada? Dada?"

Anirudh was lost in his thoughts. Thoughts that comprised of her, he couldn't figure out who she was or what was her motive. She was supposedly a thief, a dacoit infact, as people had said that day. Then why did she come to school? And on top of that, took away books in return for an expensive ring.

He didn't see her face but her eyes, they were, they were shaped like almonds, kohl outlining them sharply and it made them look like, they could pierce and kill a man, if needed. But when he looked in her eyes, in those orbs, he found himself lost for a second.

There was this inexplicable emotion in them. Like they were trying to battle something. Like they were drowned. Her eyes shined when seen, but if you looked deep in those eyes, it felt like it was fake. The shine, the fierceness, it seemed like it was all a pretense.

He couldn't make out any sense of his meeting with her. Neither the first one nor this one.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard Somnath shouting in his ear.

"Dada! Dada? DADA?!"

"Kya hua Som chilla kyu rahe ho."

"Itni der se awaaj de raha hu lekin aap apni duniya mein kho rakhe ho. Kiske khayalo mein khoye ho. Boudi ke? Dada, khayalo mein mat raho. Varna aap sochte reh jaaoge aur meri boudi ko koi aur le jaega. Yaad nahi kya apko aaj shaam ko unhe ladke wale dekhne aayenge.", Somnath said, panicking.

"Kuch nahi hoga Som, vo bas mujhe pareshan karne ke liye jhooth bol ke gayi h.", Anirudh assured him.

"Mujhe bhi aisa hi laga tha ki boudi apko jalane ke liye ye sab bol k gayi h isiliye mein unse milne gya tha. Par vaha ja ke dekha to pata chala ki vo sach keh rahi thi." Anirudh's eyes widened in shock listening to this. "Vaha puri taiyaari chal rahi h, aaj shaam ladke walo ke swagat ki."

Anirudh immediately went to his room to brainstorm ideas to stop his Mini.

*Devipur*

Bondita left the school after taking the books, with a hazy mind. She reached her hideout, changed her clothes and headed towards her house.

As soon as she reached her house, she was stopped by Mami.

"Aye Kulnashini, aa gyi. Tujhe mana kiya tha na shadi se pehle ghar ke bahar jane ko. Kaha gayi thi?"

Bondita is confused.

'Mene didi ko kaha tha baat sambhalne ko. Agar unhone kuch aur kaha hoga aur mene kuch aur keh diya to gadbad ho jayegi.', she thought.

"Oo, swapn pari, mein kuch puch rhi hu. Kaha gyi thi?"

Just then, she noticed Sampurna standing behind mami, a few feet away, making undecipherable gestures with her hands.

"Mandir?", she says as Sampurna nods. "Ha mandir gyi thi mami."

"Haa pehle gondogol kar lo. Fir dugga ma ke paas chale jaao ki maa mera pati vivah na todey. Ab vivah se pehle agar tu kahi gyi to teri taange tod dungi. Samjhi?"
