Chapter 4 / a new addition

Techno pov:

"Im homeless.." karl mumbled, it was clear he had been crying because I could hear it in his voice,

"Come over to my house karl, you can stay here" I said and the out the phone down after he said 'okay.' Minutes later a knock was heard at the door and I walked down the stairs to see my mom going to open the door,

"Oh karl! Dear! What happened?" She asked softly, letting karl in. Karl just laughed awkwardly before giving her a small lie, I could tell when karl was lying he would look away and blink more than usual. He aced bye to my mom and then followed me up the stairs. Never told my mom his worries because she considered Karl as her son and because of that he didn't want her to worry.

We sat in my room, I was on the bed and Karl was sitting at my couch near the window, my room was a decent size, I could fit a couch, a double bed, a desk and a wardrobe inside and still have room to move around.

"What happened karl?" I asked, Karl trust me and I trusted him, shlatt on the other hand he's not really someone to tell your problems too, he just.. doesn't understand?

"My dad made me cut myself because I got home late" Karl said rolling his eyes like it was no big deal.

Karl dad had been like this since his mother passed, she and Karl were held hostage in a robbery and one of the robbers held a gun to Karl like they were gonna shoot him, they did shoot but not Karl. They shot his mother. She defended him and to be honest she was always like that but when Karl's father found out he blamed Karl and convinced Karl that it was his fault.

"Why did you get home late?" I questioned, Karl looked at me and rolled his eyes before responding with,

"I was with Nick because he took me home from the party and let me stay"

I grinned, Karl noticed this because he gave me a glare before saying nothing happened.

The next day, school

Techno pov:

I stood near my locker with shlatt who didn't even bother to ask where jacobs was, we were talking about classes and how boring they were before I felt a hand touch my arm, I quickly turned around, pinning the person to the locker.

"Hey! C-calm down-" it was George and next to us stood Nick and clay, shlatt laughed as I let George go,

"Where's karl?" George asked, I shrugged. I was lying, karl said to tell George that he wasn't coming into school today and that he was fine. George was deep in thought as the bell rang,

"I have gym. I'll see you later tech" shlatt said as he pushed past Nick and clay, they growled quietly and shared a glance before looking at me.

"What do you have George?" I asked, The brunette pulled out his time table and scanned it for a few seconds before sighing loudly.

"I have science"

"Me too, let's go Georgie" clay grinned and held George hand causing him to blush as they walked off, it was just me and Nick now. I glared down at Nick and slammed my locker closed, I didn't like Nick after what happened in gym with him and Karl.

"What do you want Nick? Go to class" I told him, Nick shook his head and walked beside me as I headed to my class.

"Is Karl okay?" He asked quietly, I stopped and turned to him,

"Stop acting like you care Nick, he doesn't care about you!" I growled "god your so annoying! Just leave us alone!" I snapped and stormed off to my class leaving Nick stood quietly.

2 weeks later

Karl pov:

I walked with techno into the school only to hear screams and shouts fill the air. We quickly walked over to see two boys fighting, one had platinum blonde hair and the other was clay. George was behind them being held back by Nick as we stopped, techno grinned and then pulled the two apart "move on clay" he snarled and the blonde scrambled away to George and Nick, the crowd left as soon as me and techno showed up, they knew not to stick around when we were seen.

I walked over to the new boy, he wore a purple hoodie with yellow lines going down the sleeves and his eyes were a very light shade of blue. "Well, we'll, well. Who are you newbie?" I grinned while I slide an arm around his neck. He shoved me of and techno stood infront of me.

"No need techno I like him" I smiled sweetly, "he'll be a good addition to our group and I'm sure shlatt would like him" I added

The boy looked at me "do we get to bully people?" He asked with a small smirk, I nodded.

"Indeed we do.."

"Punz" he finished my sentence, i nodded and he stuck with us for the morning, I'm not going to lie that name had a weird say to it but I shrugged it off.
