nailea sat in her room watching tv. riley had that boy over and told nailea to stay in her room because she was embarrassing, which nailea found offending since she was never embarrassing other than the time she tried to show jaden rileys embarrassing baby pictures and telling embarrassing stories about riley. she got a call on her phone, matt.
"hey" nailea answers "im being held hostage in my room"
"what, why?" matt chuckles
"because riley has a boy over and she says im embarrassing" nailea answers
"so im outside your door holding a bag of cookies and flowers for nothing?" matt asks
"ill be right there" nailea says
nailea walks out of her room and downstairs where jaden and riley were watching a movie.
"why are you not in your room?" riley whines
"hey! i pay rent, you get to invite a boy over because of me" nailea walks to the door "plus, if you can have a boy over i can have a boy over"
"fine" riley sighs
nailea smiles and opens the door, matt standing outside it with flowers and a bag of cookies.
"hey" matt smiles
"aw, your black eye is fading" nailea pouts, tracing the fading colors with her finger
"youre sad that its gone?" matt questions
"hey. i get attached very easily cut me some slack" nailea puts her finger on his chest
"shush and come here" matt smiles, pulling her away from the door slightly and kissing her
"get a room!" riley exclaims
"jaden i have more baby pictures if you wanna see them"
"you can continue"
nailea smiles and walks out of the house completely, closing the door behind her.
"what the occasion?" nailea asks
"oh so now there has to be an occasion for me to bring you flowers?" matt scoffs "do you not like when i bring you flowers?"
"you ruined flowers for me for two years!"
"no you ruined flowers for yourself for two years"
"thats true"
matt smiles and hands her the bouquet of light pink tulips.
"theres a note but you can read it later" matt says
"later? why not now?" nailea frowns
"because i dont wanna be here when you read it" matt answers
"may i ask why?" nailea asks
"because its corny and we hated eachother for two years, three months, and nine distant days straight?" matt tilts his head
"i liked when we hated each other" nailea says "its was kind of fun to see you have a stick up your ass"
"i didn't enjoy it" matt crosses his arms
"i sure did" nailea smiles
matt smiles back and kisses her again, but she pulled away this time.
"i have something for you" nailea says, his hand still on her cheek
"cant it wait until after we kiss?" matt throws his head back
"nope" nailea says "come with me" she grabs his hand
matt groans and waks inside with her, looking at riley and jaden on the couch.
"riley snores" matt says
"shut the fuck up!" riley throws a pillow at matt "god i am moving out the second i get the fucking chance"
"i dont mind" jaden shrugs, a chuckle escaping his mouth
"you two are so adora-" matt starts
"matt i swear to god i am on the verge of throwing a vase at you."
nailea pulls matt up the stairs with her, locking the door of her bedroom when they walk in.
"what do you have for me?" matt sits on her bed
"this" nailea pulls out a book from her bookshelf
"no. nailea no" matt shakes his head
"matt come on!" nailea begs "please please please please"
"nins im not reading," matt grabs the book, going to the last page "four hundred - twenty seven pages"
"please?" nailea asks "like this is the last book i ask you to read"
"youve said that before and look at us now" matt points out
"matt. im begging. ill feed you grapes if you read it" nailea replies "my sister doesnt read and im not going to join a book club with women who are like fifty years older than me!"
"fine, fine!" matt exclaims "i promise ill read it"
"youre literally the best i fucking love you" nailea smiles
"you owe me, big time" matt reprimands
"yes sir" nailea nods
"ill read it when i get home, but right now i just wanna be with you" matt says
"can we watch frozen?"
"oh my fucking god."
nailea and matt were cuddling in her bed, frozen one playing on the tv in front of them. hans was about to kiss anna, but didnt.
"what a bitch!" nailea exclaims
"why are you acting like this is your first time watching the movie?" matt looks over at her
"matt shut up!" nailea says "its just, like imagine passing the chance to kiss anna. like i know im an elsa girly but just imagine!"
"i would kiss anna" matt says
"excuse me?" nailea raises her eyebrows at him
"what?" matt looks at her again
"unbelievable" nailea shakes her head "i mean here you are, sitting next to the woman of your dreams, and you say you want to kiss anna?"
"youre always saying how you want to kiss cristoff!"
"yeah because its cristoff like hello?"
matt scoffs and looks back at the tv, nailea letting a small chuckle leave her mouth as matt leaned down to rest his head on her chest.
"matt?" nailea asks quietly
"what" matt mutters
"are you falling asleep?" nailea plays with his her
"no im just closing my eyes for no reason"
"goodnight"
"goodnight"
nailea watched as his breathing calmed down, his arms holding onto her waist for dear life, he looked so happy. she was scared that she was gonna break him again, she was actually terrified. but she was going to try, because she loved him, she would love him for the rest of her life.
