Chapter 14: Whatever Happened to Tiffany Cipher?

Riley sat down, tilting her head curiously, "So you're gonna tell us why me and Steph and Steven didn't know you existed?"

Tiffany nodded, "Around twelve years ago, a friend of mine told me that something would be coming to destroy the universe a month after Luna turned four... Well, a weird alien thing came two years later with a weapon so powerful it would wipe out  universes."

"Whoa..." Steven whispered. Kaitlyn snuggled into Tiffany, listening with beated breath.

"I tried to come up with a plan, but none of them would work without killing more people than Jasi has hurt. So... I jumped in front of the lazer at the last second. The guy, luckily, was only able to fire it once. That lazer would've killed everyone in the universe."

Steven tilted his head, "Wait, so how'd you survive? And where'd you go? And-" Riley covered her brother's mouth.

"Riley, let your brother talk." Tiffany said, rubbing her eyes, "I don't really know how I survived. I went to a different dimension that I think was Saturn-"

"You were on Saturn!?" Steven asked excitedly

Tiffany smiled, "Yea. It was... really cool. Although the weather was a bit unusual."

Kaitlyn looked up at Tiffany, "What was it like?"

She looked up at the celing, thinking for a bit, "It was filled with witches and demons. There's a Emperor there who tried to behead me a few times,"

Steven and Riley whimpered at that, hugging onto each other. Kaitlyn stood up, going over to the receptionist as Tiffany continued talking.

"Excuse me, do you have any news on Stephanie Gwenifer Cipher? Could we see her?"

The receptionist typed something into their computer, "Well, it looks like she's stable, but she's too weak for anyone to see her right now. Maybe you should go home, I don't think she'll be able to have visitors for at least a week."

"BAM!" shouted Tiffany, suddenly standing up and acting out an epic battle. Kaitlyn thanked the receptionist and quickly rushed back over to her family.

"So the guard had me cornered, and I was looking around, making sure to not lose the apple."

An alert suddenly went off as a doctor came out. Steven looked up, running over, "Is Steph ok? What's wrong?" He started bombarding him with questions, not letting the doctor get a single word in.

Tiffany went over, "What's wrong?" She asked, noticing the doctors grim expression.

He sighed, "I don't exactly know what happened.... Your daughter was doing well, and then, she suddenly started loosing a lot of blood..."

Riley whimpered, gripping her brother's hand tightly. Kaitlyn quickly backed the triplets away. Tiffany braced herself for the news.

The doctor sighed, "She died within seconds. I'm sorry..."
