Steven laid next to a grave, staring up at the night sky, "Momma and Mommy are gonna move us to Santa Barbara. Momma said that it was gonna be better for us." He rolled over, hoping to see his sister again.

He sighed softly, unable to look away from the emptiness, "No one talks to me anymore, Steph... Not even Riley..."

He wiped the tears from his eyes, "I miss you Stephanie..."

Clouds covered the moon, shrouding him in darkness as a whisper echoed around. He whimpered, standing up and looking around, "H-Hello? Is anyone there...?"

A twig cracked. He whimpered, backing up and hiding behind his sister's grave, "W-Whoever you are, you better come out! I-I have nun-chucks and I know to use them!"

A echoing laughter was heard, "Uh-huh. And when exactly did you become an expert in nun-chucks? You're a pathetic seven year old who can't stop talking to a rock."

Steven tried to repress the stream of tears flowing from his eyes, but failed. "Leave me alone... What do you want?"

"Well, you want to see your sister again, right?" The voice asked

Steven immediately shot up from his hiding spot. He looked around for someone, but saw nothing but blackness. He frowned, "Where are you...? And can you really help me see Stephanie again?"

The moon once again became uncovered, revealing a one-eyed creature with six legs. It was wearing a fashionable suit and twirling a knife in it's hand.

Steven backed up, tripping over a grave. He quickly tried to stand up and run away, but winced in pain and collapsed, holding his leg.

The creature made it's way over to him, "Come on now, don't try to run. You said you wanted to be with your sister, right?"

Steven glared at it, "N-No! I don't wanna die! I just wanted to tell her that I need her!"

The creature ignored this, getting ready to slice his throat. Someone suddenly tackled it, shouting for Steven to get away. He quickly scooted away, watching as the creature was knocked unconscious. The stranger quickly ran over to him, their face hidden in shadows, "Steven, are you alright? The familiar voice asked, "Did that thing hurt y-"

Steven hugged his sister, smiling happily, "Steph, I'm fine. My leg hurts a bit, but you're here. All other things are officially irrelevant." He laughed

Stephanie brushed her hair out of her face, grinning, "Please, me being alive is much more irrelevant right now. Your leg is probably broken." She stood up, "I'll go find someone to help you."

"No!" Steven shouted as Stephanie started to leave, "Please don't leave me... I don't wanna be alone." He wiped the tears from his eyes for what seemed like the millionth time.

Stephanie walked back over and sat down, "How are we gonna get you help then?"

He shrugged, "I don't really care. Just never leave me again..." He rubbed his eyes, yawning.

Stephanie smiled, "You've got a deal."
