Chapter 4.

I sat in my room hugging a pillow , I looked over at a picture on my bedside table . It was with me , Paintbrush and Baxter . I smiled . It always made me feel better when I was upset . I started to think about Painty and how they would be getting on right now .. I started to cry a little bit; I pushed my head into the pillow . I felt a soft flank push against my leg , I forgot I was keeping Haze for the night .. I patted his head and realised how similar his eyes were to Painty's ..
A shimmering green left eye and a clouded right .
I picked up my phone and I had two missed calls from Fan , another missed call from Sarv . I panicked . 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝙸 𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚜 𝚜𝚘 𝚒𝚖𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚝 .. I called back Fan and he picked up immediately . But it wasn't Fans voice .. It was Testtube . "Hey testy what's up ?" I jerkily smiled . I heard her sigh from the other side "I can tell you what's up lightbulb." She scoffed . 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝙸 𝚍𝚘 ? .. "your crab brutally attacked me . That's what's up ."
"Oh ..- is that it-"
"Mhm." I giggled a bit a spoke out : "Bring him back later , Cya" and I maybe hung up too soon because I never gave Testtube a chance to reply .. But oh well . I yawned , 𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎 𝙸 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚂𝚊𝚛𝚟 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚠 ? 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚑 .. 𝙸'𝚕𝚕 𝚍𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 .

The morning sun shone through the window and into my room , My phone vibrated under my hand . I opened my eyes and looked at the screen; It read:
"One message from Painty🤎"
I quickly got up and opened it , The message read:
"Hey bulb , wanna hang out later ? I have free time !"
I smiled greatly , It must of been that happy to see their message I accidentally shone a bit , but It was sheer daylight so I couldn't tell .. I couldn't say no to that message . 𝙾𝚋𝚟𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚕𝚢. 𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚋𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍 . 𝙾𝚛 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 ? ..
"Sure ! I'll see you later !"
I giggled , got out of bed and looked out the window . It was the weekend and MePhone didn't force us to do challenges on weekends . It was nice taking breaks from challenges , It helped my social skills go up mainly . But the other half I got to hang out with my friends .

I opened the kitchen door , 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝟽 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚍 .. there was almost every contestant in there .. I shook it away and got my breakfast . There wasn't many choices to choose from so I just got some toast and sat in a corner since I didn't see any open tables . 𝙸 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝙸'𝚖 𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 ... it snapped in . I forgot Haze back in my room .. How did I forget a full kitten ?! But then I heard the familiar meow of Haze . I sighed of relief as I saw the brown cat sprint towards me . He sat by my side and groomed his fur . "Must be hungry huh ?" I took a bit of toast off my plate and put it at his paws , he took it and quickly ate it before running away to somebody . It was probably Painty or Sarv so I didn't bother chasing after him . I ate my breakfast and got up , Then I watched Haze leave the kitchen .. 𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚒 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚊 𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 𝚜𝚞𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜 ? 𝙷𝚞𝚑 . I put the plate on the side and left .
