Y/N Point of View

Last night was interesting. It feels as though so much has happened in the one day I've been here. The creep has a name, I've made two friends, and I can finally say I am a Hogwarts student.

Today was the first day of classes and since I have much to catch up on, I can't be late. I really don't want to start a reputation for myself being the new fifth-year AND being the one late all the time. My clothes for the day consisted of the standard grey skirt, a white dress shirt, my tie and my cloak. My hair stayed in its braid, considering the heat. Surprising how hot it actually got here. Being a castle made of stone and full of ghosts, you'd think the castle would be cold as ice.

I grabbed the few books I needed and made my way out of the girls quarters and into the large living area.

I saw a group over by the large windows that could see out into the lake, a few first and second year girls giggling and laughing as I saw two familiar faces.

The nicest person here so far

And then there was Sebastian.

As soon as I made eye contact with Sebastian, my body went into the same state as it did last night. I couldn't seem to find my breath, and my cheeks started to heat up.

The impact Sebastian has on me already is interesting. I find myself feeling as though I'm so exposed, yet all he is doing is looking at me.

I quickly come back to my senses and I turn on my heel and make my way quickly up the spiraling stairs to leave the common room. I know someone was following because I heard footsteps coming close.

I don't know why but my body told me I needed to break into a sprint. And so I did. I know Sebastian was after me, it had to be him.

I ran all the way up the stair case, huffing as I hid behind a corner. I peeked out to see if it was him and I felt my face turn bright red. It wasn't him at all....

It was Amelia?.... Wait, no.....Imelga?

Imelda! Yeah, Imelda.

I groaned to myself and gripped my books, noticing they felt a bit less than when I left the common room. I looked down at her hand and she couldn't help but laugh. And it wasn't a good laugh. Not a bad one either. Seemed a bit mocking. She held up a thick book and raised an eyebrow, tilting her head back with a wide smirk. "Well, new blood, seems you've started your day quite lovely. You run away from me after I tried to do something nice for you. What a way to treat your new family, hm?"

I extended my hand to grab the book, but before I could, she retracted her hand and leaned in close, "Why were you running? You know it wasn't me, because I could tell when you turned to see. So who were you expecting?" Her voice was so authoritative, it made me almost feel stiff. I struggled to find the words until I peeked past Imleda's shoulder, Sebastian making his way down the hall. He didn't seem to notice us in the far side of the hall, of course us being blocked by a rather large statue.

I sighed and tried to hide myself behind Imelda, "I just don't think Sebastian likes me. He's been looking at me with daggers and I just thought he was running after me. I don't know why I thought so, but I did. Pretty silly of me, I know."

Imelda couldn't help but laugh loudly, and thats what had to bring his attention over. My face felt hot, but not to the point I felt embarrassed. Just nervous. I haven't had a conversation with this boy and yet I feel like I've done something wrong. Stand strong Y/N. You're no coward.

Sebastian kept his focus on me, but once he came up to the two of us, Imelda stopped her laughing and tried to stifle her giggles. Sebastian looked over at her and chuckled, "What seems to be so funny? I only came down this hall to head to class and I hear a circus." He crossed his arms, my eyes darting to his, taking in his details as though he were a painting.

He didn't seem so scary up close. Just a bit....enticing.

His hair was beautiful, the way it sat was meticulous yet not enough to show he cared much about it. His freckles looked as though they were stars, and his eyes....oh his eyes.

But his eyes were on mine now, and his lips were moving with a smug smirk on them.

I blinked a few times and looked at Imelda, hoping she would help me figure out what he said. She groaned and tilted her head to the side, "Y/N, can't you hear? He asked if you wanted to have lunch together after our morning classes? Honestly, this ones mad I tell you."

Sebastian laughed, noticing that Imelda was handing me back my book. I took it graciously, appreciating the fact she didn't speak about my little run.

"I would love to, but other things are calling me later. Hopefully I'll see you later Imelda?" I asked her as I took one last look at Sebastian and made off to the staircase leading down and around to Charms class. I only know where thats at because Fig told me its the most important class to know, so rightfully, I studied its course.

As I walked away, I noticed a familiar brown-haired boy following, but I chose to not say anything.

Once in class, I took a seat in the back corner, opening my textbook and getting my things together. But before I could even think about doing anything else, Sebastian sits right next to me with the biggest grin I've ever seen. My eyes went wide.

Why was I freaking out?

"Oh, Sebastian. I didn't realize we had the same class together." I spat out as I tilted my head up some, noticing he sits taller than me by a few inches. Quite.....powering if I say.

Sebastian leaned forward on the desk, resting his elbow on it as he used his hand to rest his head on. "And you better get used to it, my dear. You'll be seeing a lot of me."

He leaned in, closing in on my ear "Even if you try to run from me.... I'll still be around."

He leaned back up, keeping his eyes on me as he winked. I looked at him, my cheeks burning as I replayed his words in my head. I finally found the courage to turn my head and look towards the front of the room, feeling my heart race fast. How could he do this to my body? This is our second conversation and this is what he does to me?

During the entire class, Sebastian didn't look over at me once. He seemed to be lost in thought about something. He barely paid attention in class, which was fine by me. However...

He is starting to catch my attention.
