A month has passed since my term has started here at Hogwarts. My relationship with Sebastian doesn't to seem to have progressed too much, but it has been better from where we started.

I met a new boy, Garreth, and he has been a sweetheart to me. He seems to always want to come with me to my study sessions, and even tried to come with me to the forest. I tried to explain to him that it was something I needed to do alone, but he keeps insisting he comes with me.

I've had to stop my training for a week because of him. He's nice, but he never seems to know when to stop.

Fig tells me that my training is paying off. He's really seeing a lot of improvement in my abilities. But I still feel as though I can be doing more.

Whatever this ability is, it needs to be something no one knows of. I can't have a repeat of what happened five years ago.

But, as the seasons begin to change from summer, to fall, I noticed a lot of the students seem to be in higher spirits. Of course, winter break is almost upon us and midterms are coming.

I walk to the large courtyard where Professor Kagawa taught me my first broom lesson, heading toward the large stone wall to leave for Hogsmeade. I needed more potion ingredients and it was the only place I knew of that had what I needed.

But as I made my way closer to the bridge crossing over close to the ruins of a small building, I see Sebastian. My chest seemed to fill with air, my lips forming into a smile as I start walking faster. He was only feet in front of me before a girl ran past me, wrapping her arms around Sebastians shoulders.

I stopped in my tracks, looking at the display as Sebastian started to laugh, turning around to admire the beautiful girl who attacked him. She was in Ravenclaw, which her sweater gave away, and she had to most beautiful light brown hair. It looked curly, but some parts seemed to have been straight.

But as I stared, I felt my chest tighten and my lip hurting. I was biting it, holding back any words. I know we haven't been as close as I wish we would be, but something in me didn't like what I was seeing. And I think Sebastian knew that too because as he hugged the girl, he shot a glance at me.

I felt my heart race as I quickly walked past them, keeping my head high as to not look like I was stopped behind them and simply walking.

The Ravenclaw girl pulled away, seeing as I was walking past and snorted, holding onto Sebastian's arm, "That's the new fifth year right? I heard she talks to spiders. That's why she's always leaving at night."

Sebastian watched as I walked, keeping a straight face, "Is that so?"

I ran up to the entrance of Hogsmeade, taking a deep breath as I started across the bridge. I've only been here one other time and that was because I needed new uniforms due to a...certain situation involving spiders and poachers. I pulled out a piece of paper with my list of ingredients, trying my best to erase what saw just down the road.

As I made my way down the main road, I couldn't help but feel lively. They weren't kidding when they said this was a great place to spend the time. Especially away from your thoughts.

I headed up to The Magic Neep, hoping they would have what I needed for my potion.

I had everything I needed, and even had a little extra. I put the seeds in the pocket of my cape as I made my way to the bridge leaving Hogsmeade. It was getting dark and I did not want to risk running into Rookwood...The one who keeps sending poachers after me.
