Sebastian
As Y/N left the library, I looked to my book and then to the door as she walked out. "Psh, Garreth? Seriously? Who would want to be around that thing?" I shook my head and placed the book underneath my arm as I made my way down to find another book on potions.
"Weasley...Fucking Weasley..." I mumbled to myself, clenching my jaw as I heard footsteps coming closer to me. Y/N?
I turned my head, all thoughts leaving me as I turned around completely to face the angel I can finally say is mine. But my face contorted into repugnance. It was Prudence.
My hand rested on on a shelf as Prudence came up to me, "Sebby, why haven't you responded to any of my owls? I've been trying to get a hold of you for two days now. I'm starting to miss you..." She moved a finger to my chest, starting to move it down and then back up, her eyelashes batting.
"Prudence, I told you, we aren't anything anymore. I've moved on, and so should you. Besides, I need to focus on my studies." I moved my eyes to the side, taking a deep breath as I tried to keep my thoughts together and organized. This girl could really be a handful. The blonde pouted, crossing her arms as she huffed, "You did mention that, but I thought you were joking. You can't possibly mean that. Besides," She leaned in closer, leaning up close to my face, "what if you need a break from your...studies?"
She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me, pulling my head to hers to keep me close. I tried to push her away, stumbling back some as I leaned against a desk, now sitting on it. She leaned on top of me and pulled away, smirking. "You taste so good Sebby... I want to taste more..." She licked my lips, causing me to shudder as I placed a hand on her shoulder, gently pushing her off of me.
"Listen, what we have is done. I can't keep doing you under these circumstances." I sat up from the desk and tried to leave, but she stepped in front of me. She placed a hand on my shoulder and ran her hand down my tie and close to my belt. "Then let's change the circumstances. What do I need to do to keep you around? Surely you don't want a certain piece of information going around about a certain spell you've used, hm? You would have a lot of explaining to do in front of Professor Black."
My eyes widened, looking at her dead in her eyes hoping for something to smite her down. "You daft chav bitch..." I whispered, gripping my wand handle in my cloak. "You will not speak a word to anyone about anything. I don't want anything to do with you, as my personal priorities have expanded to someone else."
Her eyebrow raised, giggling and tilted her head "Oh? Did you get another little plaything? What's her name?" She cooed, placing a hand on my arm that led to my wand. "And don't even think about placing a charm on me...I have plenty of evidence hidden away to prove my claim."
I let go of my wand, moving my hand back to my side, "Y/N. Her name is Y/N Reid, and she has been the single best person to come into my life in a very long time." My eyes went into a glare, Prudence not having been fazed by it. "Oh, the new fifth-year? I saw her walking past us the other day. How long has that been? Is that why you haven't talked to me?"
I looked around to anywhere but her, trying my best to not just give her what she deserves. My frustration continued to grow as I tried to find ways to avoid anything else. "That's none of your business at this point. I'd rather take a talking to by Black, so go ahead. Tell him."
I started to walk past her, trying to leave before she started to speak again. "Tsk, tsk, tsk... What would your poor sister Anne think once she found out about you using dark magic? You being sent to Azkaban... Your uncle would be defeated... And I can only imagine what poor little Ms. Reid would have to say about her secretive, lying, manipulative boyfriend."
I stopped, looking down at the ground as I tried my best to find the words. But I couldn't
I turned around and quickly made my way to her, throwing my book down and grabbing her neck. I pinned her against the bookshelf and shot the worst look I could at her, "You ever... EVER, mention my family or Y/N against me again, I'll make sure no one ever remembers your fucking name."
Prudence let out a soft noice, seeming to struggle to breathe. I groaned, letting go and sat down in a chair that was sitting out. Prudence rubbed her neck and took a deep breath, "Like I said...Whatever it takes to keep you around..." She walked off in a hurry, leaving me alone in the library. I covered my face with my hands as I tried to think, groaning when nothing seemed even remotely go with what I wanted.
"Fuck..." I whispered in a harsh tone, standing up and walking out of the library. I made my way to the Undercroft, not stopping to speak to others who waved at me or called me down.
I walked down the steps, slamming open the gate and grabbed my wand, immediately calling out bombarda to a pillar. I slammed the larger pieces of rubble against the wall, screaming as I continued this until the pieces were smashed smaller. I used every spell I could conjure to hit the multitude of chests, armor and even statues surrounding the perimeter of the room.
I panted heavily, leaning over as I tried to catch my breath. The room felt as though a war had happened.
"Sebastian?" A soft voice called out. My breathing still stayed heavy, my eyes widening as I stood straight. I turned to face the person who spoke, only to see it was Ominis.
I felt my chest tighten at the sight of his face, worry and horror. For once, I'm glad he can't see. The destruction I just did to this room would make him resent me.
"Ominis? What are you doing here?" My voice seemed shaky, but I tried my best to collect myself. I ran a hand through my hair and made my way over to him. "I wanted to study, but it seems as though that may be for later." Ominis walked closer, extending a hand out as he felt for my shoulder. He gave me a gentle squeeze to show his worry for me, "I know something is wrong."
I placed my hand over his and sighed, "It's Prudence. She's blackmailing me to stay with her." Ominis narrowed his eyebrows, gripping my shoulder, his facial expressions showing he was trying to find ways to get revenge on her. "Is it about the curses? Is she blackmailing you about the curse you put on that man last year?"
"Yeah... I don't know how, but she managed to find out about it. She just wants me to sleep with her... and she seems to have it out for Y/N, too." I felt my expand with anger again, Ominis moving his hand down as he nodded. "I see... But why would she have it out for Y/N?"
That's right... I didn't even tell Ominis about me and Y/N. I felt all anger flow away from me, my shoulders relaxing. "I may have told her I wanted to be closer to her. She seemed caught off guard, but she said the same thing back." I could tell he looked a bit defeated, but he smiled anyway.
Ominis nodded and tilted his head to the side, crossing his arms. "So, how do you want to handle this?"
I leaned against a barrel that didn't seem to have been caught in my outburst, looking at the ground as I crossed my arms in thought. "Wait it out. I need to talk to a few people and pull some strings. But we can't let Y/N know. She already has enough going on."
"Yes, she told me about....About her abilities. She didn't go into much detail but I now have an understanding of what has been going on with her. And on top of being a new fifth year, I'm sure that doesn't help matters." Ominis tilted his head to focus on my voice, softening his expression. "I'm glad she's here with us." His smile was soft, obvious he was thinking. I couldn't help but smile too and chuckled, "Me too... I'm glad we can be here to help her." I nudged Ominis on the arm and ruffled his hair, "But don't go fancying her now, you know how I am." Ominis tried to pull my hand away, laughing gently, "Stop with my hair, you know I can't fix it very well. Besides, maybe she could be around a true gentleman for once." He nudged me back, something we seem to always do when we bicker with each other.
The talking about Y/N seemed to have lifted my spirits. I felt most of my anger disappear.
But that bitch is going to get what she deserves.
