I wake from my sleep to see a beautiful brunette boy before me, lips parted as soft snores escape his mouth. I smile at the sight. I lift my hand to his cheek, cupping it as I take in his features. Prominent freckles that look like sprinkles from my favourite cupcakes. Soft lips the colour of orchids, my favourite flower. Gentle eyes that flutter open with my touch. "Morning, my love", the rasp evident in his voice. I officially want to hear his morning voice replay through my head for eternity.
"Morning, Seb" I say, blush creeping on my cheeks. He yawns before quickly covering his mouth in embarrassment. I shoot him a confused look.
"Morning breath" he says, causing me to giggle.
"That's what happens when you snore your head off all night" I bite back, smirking slightly.
"I do not!" He spits. I close my eyes and open my mouth, mocking the noises of his snores, slightly overexaggerating them.
"Oh shut it you" he says.
"Make me." I whisper. He smiles, "You sure you want a whiff of this bad breath?"
"I want nothing more in the world" I say, leaning in and pressing my lips to his. Fireworks exploding through my body. My hand, still on his cheek, slides to the back of his head, intertwining into his hair. He pulls back, looking in my eyes.
"I love when you do that." He says
"I'll keep that in mind." I say before reconnecting our lips. We kiss for a few moments, only retracting to reconnect immediately after, before he glides his tongue along my lower lip. I part my lips willingingly and accept his tongue lightly gliding against my own. Despite the movement within our mouths, the kiss remains gentle. Full of passion. I pull away after a few moments as I hear the nurse exiting her office."Wake up you two, you have breakfast to attend." the nurse says gently. Sebastian sits up, getting out of bed and stretching before he grabs my hands, lifting me out of the bed he previously held me in. He assists me with my shoes, clasping them around my ankles. He grabs my hand guiding me to the exit.
As we near the steps decending out of the hospital wing, Professor Weasly spots us as she reaches the top.
"Ah, just who I wanted to see. How are you holding up? Professor Hecat informed me of the reasoning for your stay and I must say, I've never heard anything quite like it." She says.
"I'm okay now" I say, hand still intertwined with Sebastians.
"Mister Sallow, I'd like to have a word with Miss Whittaker if you don't mind."
Sebastian looks to me for reassurance and I give him a gentle nod as I let go of his hand, already yearing for his touch. He walks down the stairs before stopping and facing me.
"I'll save you a spot at the table." He says, earning a smile from me.Professor Weasly guides me to the hallway to our left as my heart rate picks up over the realisation of what this conversation could be about. Did she know about what happened in the Forbidden Forest with Sebastian and I? Did she know we were making out no less that five minutes ago? I feel absolutely mortified and fearful as she opens her mouth, beginning to speak.
"I have been made aware of some... rumours going around the professors here at the school" she says.
I gulp.
"Professor I-" I blurt before she holds up her hand to indicate quietness.
"It seems as if there is a potential rebellion group forming as a result of the events that took place last year." She says
I gulp again. For a moment, I felt a brief sense of relief until her words rung through my ears once more.
"It's rumoured that this rebellion group wish to follow in Ranrok and Rookwoods steps, seeking out the ancient magic you now are a Keeper of." She says. "Before you say anything, remember. This is just a rumour."
"I understand Professor, but these rumours must stem from something" I say.
She sighs as she looks to the floor.
"There is information that a group of dark wizards met at an abandoned bandit camp two nights ago. Here, they were heard discussing about the student keeper'. They were supposedly discussing you."
"Two nights ago?" I say as my mind fills with memories.
"Yes." She says as I look at her with fearful eyes and open my mouth to say"I was there."
