soooo I've been gone for years now and a lot of people want an update so I'll give it to y'all I'm going to do a little time jump not major but just a little one since I missed so much (technically)

Jo's POV

I can't believe it's 2018 where did 2017 jeez I'm now a second year surgical resident and I have interns what the hell this is crazy and to top it all off I'm still single. Of course I've been trying to dip my toes in the dating pool but with being a resident and managing my "minions" it's kinda hard to get out and mingle but I see it hasn't been hard for Arizona she's been going on so many dates I can't keep up I mean I don't know why I would we're not together and it's good to see her happy but still. I'm saying all this while laying in bed and the faint noise of my alarm clock going off. I get up and look at the clock it's 5am rounds aren't till 6 but I really need to get up cause what if my interns blew up the hospital....I get out of bed shower and head out the door I'm not eating breakfast this early it's too much, I get to the hospital park and start to walk in and as I start to walk in I feel a presence near me I turn and it's Arizona.

Arizona's POV

Hey Jo "hi Arizona how are you?" Jo asks I'm ok didn't get much sleep kinda tossed and turned how about you "now you know I haven't been getting any sleep with my minions running around" said Jo oh I know they're M.A.G.I.C 2.0. You wanna know who's the worse out of all of them? "Glasses" glasses is the worst he barely speaks up and when he does he stammers he's like Cristina and George in one like he's smart but also weird. "Wait are you talking about Schmidt?! I like him he's quirky like me kinda but I'm prettier" said Jo well you certainly are right. I think this is the first civil conversation I've had with Jo since we broke up I've missed us talking and just shooting the shit like old times we both made it to the elevator and surprisingly it was just us two on there.

Jo's POV

Me and Arizona get to the elevator and step on at this time I was in my PEDS fellowship so it was kinda hard to not see her. We stand there in silence for what seemed like forever and I finally broke it...do you want to go get a drink with me?! Arizona turns looking confused "ar-are you talking to me?!" She says. Well yea dummy who else would I be speaking to "yea that's fine I haven't been out drinking in so long it's time for me to let loose and let my hair down" says Arizona oh ok I see I would love to go out and get a drink how about after work depending on what time you get off we meet at joes

Later that day

It's 6pm how am I still here "because you're taking care of the tiny humans of the world" says Helm "but if I may ask a question?" Asked Helm yes Helm what is it? "Aren't you supposed to get ready to see Jo?!" Oh shit I completely lost track of time yes I need to get going. Can you round on my post ops pleaseeee? "Yes Arizona I got you go get your girlfriend" Helm says with a smirk on her face.

Arizona's POV

Joes bar

I made it here finally it's 6:30pm and the bar is kinda dead I guess everyone is still at work I say as I make my way into the bar and grab a booth. I took my phone out and I see a text from Meredith "Don't mess this up you need your girl back" I respond "I won't I don't want to lose her" then I place my phone on the table, I turn to the door to see if Jo was coming and as soon as I turn around I see her walk in I wave at her and she starts making her way over and I start to get real nervous. "Hey Arizona" Jo says Hey Jo I say as I stand to give her a hug, she smells so good like cherry blossom, we sit and order drinks and just shoot the breeze and by the time I looked at my watch it was 8pm. Wow look at the time have we really been here that long? "Apparently, I should probably get going I've got Pre rounds tomorrow and rounds, gotta check on my minions" Jo says. I laughed I can't believe you call them minions I can only imagine what they call you behind your back. "Probably Medusa or the Devil, although Meredith was Medusa so maybe not that" Jo says as we both stand and start heading towards the door. I walk Jo to her car I had a good time haven't laughed like that in so long it felt good. "Yea I really don't laugh much anymore but tonight I really needed that" Jo says as we make it to her vehicle. Well here we are I hope you have a great night and please text me when you make it home. As I turn to walk away Jo grabs me and kisses me God I missed that I missed her touch I missed her face I missed everything about her in that moment every thing seemed so right and normal. As we pull away from the kiss I snap back into reality. Wow I needed that as I stand there in awe slightly shaking and Jo says " I needed that too sorry I just grabbed you like that" no no that's fine I missed kissing you I missed us I say. "I missed us too" Jo says
Well I should probably head home "oh yea me too it's really late" Jo says same same I say stammering my words, "have a great night Arizona" Jo says you too Jo I say as I turn and walk towards my vehicle. I made it to my car I get in and just sit; I missed Jo everything about her I want her I want her back I say out loud as I turn on my car and pull out the parking lot. I head home take my clothes off and jump into bed whewww I am beat tonight was a night I say as I drift off to sleep.

Ahhhhh can't believe I wrote a chapter after so long ugh I've missed it and I've missed you guys I missed my characters. This felt great, now I'm not promising a new chapter every week I'll just update when I can, but I hope you all loved this chapter.
