The break up! pt 2

A/N
So before I start I know this is going to confuse some of you guys and I'm sorry about that but the reason why I'm doing this is because I felt like I never gave you guys a proper breakup meaning what happens afterwards. I'm sorry about that so here it goes now hope you guys like it.

1 Month Later
Arizona's POV
I can't believe it's been a month since Jo and I broke up, for the first 2 weeks I was devastated. I couldn't get out of bed, I wouldn't even go into work, the day we broke up I immediately texted Alex and told him that I won't be coming in for a few days because I'm going on vacation. I asked him if he could take over my service and he said yes. I cried and cried and cried until I couldn't anymore. Everyone kept calling me to see how my vacation was going but of course I wasn't really on vacation I was at home eating a tub of ice cream until one Thursday afternoon Bailey came to my apartment...*knock knock* I didn't answer.
"Open the door Arizona I know you're in there" said Bailey
*Silent*.
"I said open the door Ari I know you're in there and I'm not leaving until you open it or so help me I will kick this door down" said Bailey
So I finally get up and go answer the door
"What the hell is going on Arizona I've been worried about you, you haven't been to work in almost a week. Alex told me you went on vacation and I knew that wasn't true, so what's really going on?" Asked Bailey
Jo and I broke up. Bailey had this confused look on her face
"So what does that have to do with you going to work, you're still a doctor, you still have a responsibility. Your patients need you......so stop your bitching, get up, wash up, and let's go to the hospital so you can save "the tiny humans" as you call it to save.
At the hospital
"Where's my Wipple?" Asked Meredith
"Why is my Facial Reconstruction at 2 I said to put it at 3 I wanted to eat lunch with Harriet" asked Jackson
"Where's my kid with the Appy" asked Alex
See this is why we shouldn't let computers decide how to run our lives" I said
I started walking to get my charts when Meredith pulled me into the supply closet
Oooo see I knew you wanted me, this can be our dirty little secret😂
"Shut up, I'm not Gay, the reason I pulled you into the closet is because I wanted to know why haven't you been here I've been worried about you.
"Jo and I broke up so I was trying to deal with the pain🤷🏾‍♀️"
"What, nooo you guys are supposed to be together forever" said Meredith
"I know I confessed to her that I loved Eliza"
"Wait, you what?? You like Eliza?!" Said Meredith
At that moment I knew I fucked up, I had forgotten that everyone( with the exception for April) hated Eliza and now I just blew it.
"How could you do this to me? To Grey Sloan? I'm sorry Arizona but as long as you're with Eliza I cannot and will not be your friend I'm sorry it had to be this way" said Meredith
She then turned and walked away. I ran to the attendings lounge and saw that Eliza was there she looked so sexy so I plopped down next to her and started crying
"Babe what's wrong? What happened?"
"I accidentally told Meredith that I was seeing you and she broke up with me😪"
*Eliza looking confused not knowing how to respond to that sentence*
She sat up and turned to me, lifted up my chin and said to me "Look it doesn't matter who knows and who's going to be your friend at the end. Just know that I'm always going to be here right by your side, every step of the way"
When Eliza said that I couldn't help but get lost in the words she always knew what to say to make me feel better and that's one of the many reasons why I love her.
We both leaned in to kiss each other when Richard walked in and I immediately snatched back.
"Uh ummm I'm sorry I'll just come back another time it looks like you two are busy we..well I'll see you guys later" said Richard before closing the door
"Well I just lost my best friend" I said before sinking into the couch seat wishing I could disappear for a little while.
