11. Dating

Sid POV

"Did something happen between you and Mila?" Richard asked me. He is kind of irritating me. I'm not jealous. Never would be.

"Nope" I answered

"You guys didn't catch up anything. She told you were friends" he said

"May I know what's your deal with Mila?" I asked him. I know he is interested in her

"We are dating" he said

"Is she your girlfriend?" I asked him

"Not yet" he said

Mila POV

I was walking back to my room. The endless train of thoughts started to hurt my head. I was very happy to see him after long time. I was excited, all i remembered was our happy memories. Days before we spoiled. Days when we hung out, watched movie, cooked food together. I never had anything like that till date. I don't know, how i forgot all the memories he hurt me. He was not only the person who gave me butterflies, but also cruel heartbreak.

How did i forget that?

Why did my brain block all those memories?

I reached my room.

Closed the door.

Played Zero'o clock

I cried my heart out

I hope, I'm gonna be happy.

Why did i fall for him?

I should avoid him

-MONDAY-

Richard is incharge of onboarding. "How are you Mila?" he asked me

"Good. Thank you. How is the onboarding session going?"

"No problem. Till now. I forgot to tell you, for the new project, you will be working with Siddharth, Anna, and Maria"

"Okay. Could you please schedule a meeting with them?" i asked him

"Yeah sure"

Sid POV

"Siddharth, you will working for implementation project under Mila" Richard said

Was she okay with this? Anyway

"You can call me Sid" Richard smiled. 

Anna, Maria was inside the meeting hall with Mila. She was checking something with her laptop.

"Hello all, so yeah. We will be working in implementation project. I hope you've read about the project. I'll explain. Usually, our implementation project will have designing, engineering, purchase, erection and commissioning but for this project, we are doing only engineering. So, we will be analysing the data and give them a technical design report to our client. So, there's no need for purchasing. For now, your task will be to go through the project. Understand it. Sid, I heard you know about autocad. How good is your autocad knowledge?" she asked me

"Pretty good" i said

"You will be required to do designing of the equipment involved in the project" she said

"Okay" i said

"Anna and Maria, you both are incharge of calculations. Ask me any doubts, at any point of the project. I know, you both are also busy with other projects. I request you to spend atleast an hour a day or more for this project." she requested them.

I have never seen this side of Mila ever before.

"Sid, could you design the sample equipment based on the details we have now. We can redefine it again after getting exact values from Anna and Maria" I nodded my head

"Thank you for attending this meeting. Please let me know, if you need me" Mila said

"Thank you" we all said in unison. We dispersed.

Why is she serious? I've never seen her like this. It scares me. 

Mila POV

I was having lunch with Richard. He was talking about all the countries he travelled. It interesting.

"Are you planning for anything this summer?"

"Nothing really" i said

"Do you wanna travel anywhere in Europe?"

"I do have a dream destination" i said

"Let me guess, Is it Prague?" he asked me

"No" Prague reminds me of Sid, a second of sad memories. "It's Malta" i said

'Oh! i've never been there. Is there any reason?" he aske me

"Not exactly. I wan bon voyage show. In one season, BTS went to Malta. It was fun. Since, then i wanted to spend a summer in Malta at least once. Not sure, whether its possible this summer but hope so in future"

"Maybe we can plan this time?" he said

"I think, it would be fun to go in group than two people" i laughed

"Sid, why don't you join us?" Richard called him

He sat infront of me. Making me uncomfortable. 

"I'll just get some water" Richard got up from his seat

"Fuck" it came out loud

"Are you ok?" Sid asked me

"Yes" i said

"You seem off" he said

Richard came back. "Oh Sid, Richard and I are dating" i announced

Everybody was looking at me. It came out bit loud.

"Are you dating Richard?" Maria asked me

"Yes we are dating", everbody looked happy in the room
