It had been a few weeks since Ethan apologized. Amelia and Ethan both decided to take things slow and see where they go. So, they weren't official, but neither one of them were available.
"Let's see how much we know each other" Ethan says while playing with Amelia's fingers. They were both lying in her bed facing the ceiling. Amelia's eyebrows pinched together and she turned her head to look at him.
"What do you mean?" She asked. Ethan turned to her and smiled.
"Just ask each other questions and see how well we know each other" Ethan shrugs. Amelia nods.
"Okay, I'll start. We each get 10 questions each" Amelia said.
"Ask away" Ethan declares dramatically throwing their intertwined hands in the air. Amelia smiled at him, laughing slightly.
"What's my favorite color?"
"Easy, that shade of greyish blue"
"Favorite food?"
"Chicken Alfredo"
"Where am I from?"
"Texas"
"Favorite book?"
"Sugar, you love the balance of smut and sentimental moments"
"How many siblings do I have?"
"One younger brother"
"Favorite song?"
"You have different one for each genre"
"Comfort movies?"
"Mighty Ducks"
"Comfort show?"
"Supernatural and Boy Meets World"
"Celebrity crush?"
"Jensen Ackles"
"What's my Dunkin order?"
"Large iced vanilla coffee with sugar and cream and an avocado and tomato grilled cheese" Amelia laughed and nodded.
"All of them were correct" Amelia says, impressed.
"Okay, my turn" Ethan says turning on his side to look at Amelia. She copies his actions. He pauses.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Ethan asks softly. Amelia was shocked. She didn't expect him to ask her that soon or at all. A nervous expression clouded his face as Amelia stayed silent.
"If it's too soon or you don't want to, I completely under-" Ethan was cut off by Amelia's lips on his. He melted as soon as their lips collided. She pulled away with a big smile.
"I would love to be your girlfriend" Ethan smiled brightly at her answer. He pulled her over to him and engulfed her in a hug.
