Connor was a kid you'd think people wouldn't miss, it would notice if he disappeared, but one kid would and did notice. Evan Hansen, a kid with social anxiety and depression
Connor wasn't in his class in the morning he wasn't sitting in the Corner desk like he would be, nor was he at the table he would sit at in the senior hub.
No one knew Connor was hanging from a bridge with a dislocated shoulder, elbow and wrist, Evan knew something was wrong so he skipped and traced connors steps. He knew the way to his house when he did an assignment with Connor once and from all the times they've walked home together in the fact that they were dating.
He made it to a bridge that Connor would cross
"GOD PLEASE," Connor shouted
Evan looked over the railing and saw Connor hanging from the fence
"Oh god Connor," evan gasped
He grabbed the rope that was tied to the hand rail and pulled Connor grunted and was eventually able to grabbed the railing himself and Evan pulled him over he fell onto the cement
"Connor?"
No response
Evan got to the ground and grabbed his phone dialing 9-1–1
Connors eyes slipped open
"Evan?"
"Hi, I'm here con," Evan smiled
Connor smiled weakly and shut his eyes again
Evan kept on checking his pulse. Eventually the ambulance pulled up
They lifted him onto the stretcher and saw his fingers were turning purple
"We need to relocate his shoulder,"
One of the paramedics grabbed his shoulder and cracked his shoulder back into place.
Evan sat in the hospital room connors body going up and down the only sign he was alive, his arm was in a cast that went from his elbow to his wrist much like evans
"Oh, my boy," a woman rushed in and grabbed his face
"The doctors said he'll be waking soon, they had to realine his bone with surgery," Evan quietly explained
"Oh god," she slumped in the chair next to him
"Are you friends with Connor?" She asked hopefully
"Kinda, we had a project that we did together, I'm Evan, I found connor," Evan lied
A few hours later, Cynthia had to leave to go start dinner and Connor woke up his eyes met Evan
"You found me?" He asked
"Yeah, I did, I was so fucking scared, con I love you,"
Connor started crying " I love you too,"
Evan hugged Connor tightly
"When I found you, I was so scared," Evan breathed softy
Connor nodded " I thought I was going to die,"
" you're not dead your here, I've got you," Evan whispered
Connor nodded and breathed in the scent of Evan calming him down, he's got Evan and that's all that mattered.
