Girlfriend

*Nene's POV*

I go home, I have to talk to Rui. According to Tsukasa he's feeling the same things that I am. I'm scared though, what if Tsukasa's wrong? But then again I can't ignore him for the rest of my life. I'll go over to his house. I look in the mirror. I gotta put some makeup on first though. And as I'm putting it on there's a knock at the door. Since I'm home alone I have no choice but to answer. And it's,

- Rui?! I say, shocked.

- Nene, we need to talk, he says.

- I know, let's go upstairs.

We go up to my room and sit down on my bed. We sit quietly for some time, the suspense is killing me.

- Look, Nene I know that kiss was just on impulse but it meant alot to me because.. well I'm in love with you, he says.

Impulse? Why would he think that, I literally told him that I loved him before that. I laugh at his stupidity, but he's not laughing with me. I'm an idiot.

- I know that it's stupid but I hope that we can be friends and pretend that nothing happened, he says.

Friends? No! That's not what I want. He doesn't wait for a response, just turns around to walk away.

- Rui, wait, I say.

He turns around.

- I don't wanna be friends, I start.

He looks even sadder than before. I smile, grab both his hands.

- I want to be so much more than that.

His smile is coming back.

- You're not messing with me right? he says.

- Of course not! I say, giggling slightly.

I give him a long hug. I'm so happy that my eyes start to water.

- Are you crying, Rui asks me.

- No! You're crying, I tell him.

We laugh, I never want this to end.

- So since you wanna be more than friends, will you be my girlfriend? He asks.

I can't believe it! He wants me to be his girlfriend.

- Obviously!! I say.

He kisses me. I'm his girlfriend.
