When they came back home at night manik as usual after making sure she changed nd went to bed he switched off the lights he dosent switch off all the lights keep one dim light on bcz she is scared of dark...he went to his room after saying a goodnight
Nandini was laying on bed eyes opened
NANDINI'S POV:
I thought I can move on I fucking thought I will move on from him but no destiny had to make me stand in front of him onlyy he was there which I wanted to but not as in this way he said he flirted.. these two months were the only one after so many months that I didn't thought of him in that sense I thought I'll be interested in someone eventually I'll fall in love nd this chap will close without affecting our frndship but nooo I dont think I'll ever be able to move on from him but whyy can't he??? Why can't he feel the same I mean we're the best for each other in every damnnn fucking wayyy why he doesn't look at me that way feel me that way why why why whyyyyyy" tears fall off her face it was her first time to cry for him to cry why he doesn't feel the same to cry why she feels like this for him...

Next morning she woke up got ready nd went downstairs happily hiding all that she felt last night she ran downstairs calling his name as she used to do
MANIK: "why can't you come down quietly" he questioned her seeing coming towards him
NANDINI: "bcz this house is used to of my voice my laugheter my fights with you it feels very incomplete without me around" she said being seated on her place
MANIK: "wesay you're right but all of this is very irritating subha subah itna kon chilata hai??" He said making a bad face
NANDINI: "subah subah itna kon cbilata h?? dupher mei itna kon chilata h?? sham mei itna kon chilata h?? rat mei itna kon chilata h??  insan kry to kya kry" she said mimicking him
MANIK:" to chilana hi q h aram sy   b bt ho skti h"
NANDINI: "look who's talking the manik malhothra jo sara din apnay staff pe chilata rhta h" rolling her eyes
MANIK: "Less than you do"
NANDINI: "jis din mei ni rhungi na us din you'll even miss my fights shouts my pranks evrything"
MANIK: "I'm definitely not going to miss your shouts nd pranks baki sab maybe" he said smirking to which he hit him
NANDINI: "we'll see"
He went for the office nd she stayed back doing nothing she was bored as she had nothing to do from the past two months either she was busy talking or thinking about their talks

After sometime she called manik
MANIK: "hey madam whats upp"
NANDINI: "I'm so bored manikk I've nothing to do"
MANIK: "why don't you join us at lunch?"
NANDINI: "who us you and aman??"
MANIK: "no me nd soha"
NANDINI: "SOHAAA??"
MANIK: "you'll definitely planning to make me deaf"
NANDINI: "what is soha doing with you?"
MANIK: "don't behave like a jelous gf we had a date last night that dosent mean y..." he tried to tease her
NANDINI: "shut up manik I just don't get it soha in your office"
MANIK: "you don't know? She joined malhothra industry two days back"
NANDINI: "what???"
MANIK: "are you coming for the lunch or not no more questions plz"
NANDINI: "no I'm not you guys Carry on"
MANIK: "but why you sa..."
She cut the call

NANDINI'S POV: why didn't she tell me about her joining we literally talked yesterday nd the day before yesterday she didn't even tell me but why??

In manik's office
When she cut the call
MANIK: "why is this girl behaving like this yesterday too when I was laughing about our texts on tha dating app nd me flirting she didn't seemed to be okay with all that is she hurt? Was she serious? She had been behaving differently kind of look like jealous sometimes over protective possessiveness...nd now hearing soha's name she was so mad too"
He was in his thoughts when the door opened nd soha entered
SOHA: "hey what happened what are you thinking of?"
MANIK: "umm no nothing"
Soha came towards him
SOHA: "I know we're not that close but you can share I m nandini's good friend you can trust me" she said putting her hand on his shoulder
MANIK'S POV: if she wanted to tell me clearly she would have told me but she isn't I think soha can ask her
MANIK: "soha yeah actually you can help" soha noded
MANIK: "just do one thing please clear this out with nandini anyhow without taking my name what does she think of me"
SOHA: "what do you mean she thinks you're a great frnd to her who irritates her to hell" she laughed
MANIK: "I know all this but she's been behaving differently I think she's kind of interested in me"
SOHA: "whatt??? But she never mentioned it"
MANIK: "yeah that's the prblm I think she's hesitated in talking to me so I want you to cnfrm this to me without letting her know"
SOHA: "what do you think of her manik?"
MANIK: "i dont know soha I'm not letting my feelings to come out but she's so innocent I never ever want to break her whatever she wants whatever I'll do it"
SOHA: "don't worry I'll talk to her nd let you know"
MANIK: "yeah please"
SOHA: "lets have our lunch now don't worry about her"
MANIK: "yeah thanks"
SOHA: "ex cuse me I thought we're friends"
MANIK: "yes we're"
SOHA: "so what's this formality of thank you?" Raising an eyebrow
MANIK: "Oh sorry...oh I mean nothingg"
They both laughed out nd had their lunch while talking about random topics..
