Manik woke up the next day got ready nd went towards nandini's room to check on her when he went towards her he touched her face which was burning with fever he got panicked seeing her
MANIK: "nandinii jaan wake upp you're not well what happened" he said shaking her a little so she wakes up she moved a little nd opened her eyes which were burning too but when she saw him manik infront of her eyes she smiled seeing him
MANIK: "what happened nandinii what's wrong do you have any pain?? Should I call the doctor??" He asked while helping her to sit she nodded in a no
MANIK: "you should eat something nd take medicine then you can take rest sleep ok" saying so he stood up kissed her forhead nd a tear fall of her eye she missed this in that one dayy very badly
He went out nd asked the doctor he prescribed some medicines nd said she'll be okay he made her eat her breakfast nd then medicine nd also put the wet clothes on her forehead to reduce her fever...she was better than before
Manik came inside her room she was sitting resting her head on the headboard of bed he sat beside her legs
MANIK: "feeling better?" She nodded in a yes
MANIK: "what happened to you suddenly you were okay till last night the doctor said maybe you ate something wrong or you've catched cold"
NANDINI: "I dont know manik" NANDINI'S POV: he thinks I was okay last night nd not okay now wow he knows me so well nai?? The pain you both have given me is not even 1% of this fever
Her thoughts were broken when manik said
MANIK: "you know soha called sometime back nd when i told her about you she got so worried she panicked almost was asking me to take Care...she really cares for you alot" he said with a smile to which nandini laughed sarcastically
NANDINI: "yeah she really cares for me" she thought of it to be the biggest joke of the year
Manik felt weird nd before he could ask soha entered
SOHA: "nandini what happened darling are you sick???" She said throwing her handbag a side nd came to bed from the other side nd sat with nandini side hugging her nd nandini
SOHA: "why don't you take care of yourself han?? Look you'r looking so dull" she said looking at nandini caressing her hair while nandini gave her a are you serious look? Is she mad or what why is she pretending to be so good all of a sudden after what she did ohhh making her good impression infront of manikk
MANIK: "it feels so good to know that your bestie nd girlfriend are really good friends but I'm here too guys" he was happy to see the bonding the fake bonding
SOHA: "aww baby you're jealous" soha stood up from bed nd went to hug him while he sat there nd hugged her back she kissed his cheek nd manik smiled nd nandini closed her eyes leaning her head to headboard taking deep breaths not wanting her tears to fall infront of them
SOHA: "I got so worried that I didnt even eat or drink nd came running here for her" she said trying to be innocent
MANIK: "what's this soha you shouldn't skip your meals darling you sit here I'll ask kaka to bring something for you" he said kissing her forehead while she was there controlling herself  manik stepped out nd soha lyed down on the bed with a smirk
SOHA: "he's happy with me so try to stay awayy as much as possible" she said nd took out her phone nd started scrolling nd taking her pictures...manik came after sometime with a breakfast
SOHA: "thanks baby it wasn't needed at all"
MANIK: "it was comeon"
They both started talking eating making each other eat laugh tease while nandini had her eyes closed their voices echoed in her ears which were killing her inside
NANDINI: "stop itttt" she shouted nd both of them stopped nd looked at her
MANIK: "what happened are you okay??" He said coming forward when nandini showed him her hand
NANDINI: "I want to take rest for a while please "
SOHA: "sorry nandini we didn't realize you're right we should go you take rest nd sleep for sometime" she stood up from bed nandini didn't reply
SOHA: "we should go to office manik"
MANIK: "no I can't leave her like that"
SOHA: "even I don't wanna leave her alone but see she has taken her medicine nd it's important you r needed..nandini dosent want your work to be effected right" she said looking at nandini
NANDINI: "yeah manik you should go it must be important I'm alright nd I will take rest" saying so she turned her head to other side lying down properly covering herself with the duvet
Manik closed the curtains nd kiseed her forehead from a side to which her tears rolled her eyess which he couldn't see nd they left when they closed the door she sat on her bead holding her head started crying
NANDINI: "wo meri jaga lerhi h mei kya krun?? Wo mere sath hasta thaa wo mery sth larta tha wo mujhy tangh krta thaa wo mjhy breakfast khilata thaa wo mera thaa sohaa wo mera thaa" she cried for sometime nd she felt more weak...

MANIK'S OFFICE
manik was working on his laptop when soha entered
MANIK: "soha have you asked nandini about her health hows she? Feeling okay? There's nothing serious right" he said still busy in work
SOHA: "I called her she was feeling good now infact she said we should go out nd spend some time" she lied bcz he had said her earlier before going to meeting room also as his phone's battery was dead 
MANIK: "we who?'he looked up at her
SOHA: "she was asking me to take you out as she thinks we should spend time together but I told her we can not leave you alone once you're totally okay then only we can go out" she said faking concern nd going towards him
MANIK: "she thinks of everyone too much nd thank you soha for being nice to her" he kissed her hand nd she smiled
