Pokemon Indigo League - Pokemon x Male Reader

And The Winner Is...?

Silence.

The entire stadium was silent as Dragonite and Charizard were lying on the ground. And then, Charizard tried getting up. Everyone were now holding their breath. Soon after, Dragonite also started getting up. Both of them were struggling. 

Announcer: The explosion knocked down both Pokemon and they are now trying to get up, but who has enough strength left to do it!?

Y/N: Come on Charizard, you can do it!

Pikachu: Pika Pika! (Get up!)

Eevee: Eevee! (You can do it buddy!)

Lance: Stand up Dragonite, I know you can do it!

Brock: You can do it Charizard!

Misty: Come on, stand up! Stand up!

Togepi: Togepi!

Lucas: Don't let up Charizard! Keep pushing!

Crystal: Stand up Charizard!

Delia: Please Charizard, stand up!

Professor Oak: You got to stand up Charizard. 

The rest of the audience joined in and were chanting for Charizard to get up while some where chanting for Dragonite. The chanting seems to work as both Pokemon get back up. The two Pokemon are standing there staring each other, exhausted from their intense battle. Before trainers could give any commands, they both start to fall, but Y/N calls out to Charizard.

Y/N: Charizard!

And Charizard hears him, catches himself before he hits the ground as Dragonite falls in defeat. Charizard uses the last of his strength to get up and let's out a mighty roar while shooting Flamethrower in the sky.

Charizard: RRROOOOOAAAARRRR!!!!!! *shoots Flamethrower*

Referee: Dragonite is unable to battle! Charizard is the winner! Which means that the winner and a new Kanto champion is Y/N L/N!

And with that, the stadium erupts in excitement and Y/N is in shock. He did it. He beat the Elite Four. The most powerful trainers in all of Kanto and he beat all of them. Lance approaches Y/N and extends his hand

Lance: Congratulations to Kanto's newest champion.

Y/N shakes his hand. 

Y/N: Thank you.

While this is going on his parents, Professor Oak, Delia, Brock and Misty are clapping and crying for happiness. 

Later

It's night time as we see our champion sitting outside on a hill next to the same cabin they were staying during the Indigo League. He was stargazing as Pikachu and Eevee were laying down next to him. Misty is then seen approaching him.  

Misty: Here you are, champ!

Y/N: Oh, hey Misty.

Misty: What's you up to?

Y/N: Just stargazing. And thinking about our jouney.

Misty: Mind if I join you?

Y/N: Go ahead. 

He says and motions her to sit next to him. She does so and they are quiet for a while. 

Misty: So, how does it feel? To be Kanto's new champion?

Y/N: Honestly, I'm still pretty shocked, but it feels great. 

Misty: I bet. So what are you gonna do next?

Y/N: I... haven't really thought about it yet. What about you? Now that the journey is over. Are you gonna go back to Cerulean City?

She doesn't answer and just turns his head towards her, and kisses him right on the lips. Pikachu and Eevee open their eyes slightly and think.

Pikachu&Eevee: *thinking* (About time.)

Misty: Well I'm going wherever you're going.

Both just smile at each other. 

Misty: We should get back to the others? Your parents and Mrs. Ketchum are already planning a party for you when we get back home. 

Y/N: Yeah, let's go. 

He says as they both get back up.

Misty: By the way that was my first kiss. So was I any good?

Y/N: Would you believe if I told you that you've already kissed me on to lips?

Misty: Huh? What do you mean?

Y/N: It's a long story. I'll tell you about it some other time.

He said as they walked back to the cabin.
