Aphrodite weeps
Eros' arrow missed the mark
Heart shattered in pain
Echo's lonely voice
Reverberates through the woods
Narcissus unmoved
Orpheus' sweet lyre
Charmed even Hades' cold heart
But not his lost love
Selene's moonlit glow
Illuminates empty bed
Endymion sleeps on
