Chapter One Hundred & Ten Uncle Whitley & Aunt Jess visit pt 1

April 2nd

(Jessica Schnee) Whitley and I decided to visit Ruby & Weiss's place and we can spend time with our youngest nephew James and the trunk has a couple of presents in it for James, Oh I can't wait to see him since Whitley and I haven't seen him or my sister in laws since New Years Eve.

I was driving our car in the pouring rain while Whitley was in charge of the GPS I was very nervous with driving in the current conditions and all the while I had the windshield wipers going non-stop and I said a silent prayer as I drove.

Whitley looked over at me and he asked me Are you okay darling? I responded without taking my eyes off the road I'm okay dear I'm just a little uneasy with the current driving conditions, and Whitley said with a small smile on his face we only have another thirty minutes left until we reach the mansion which made smile slightly.

After the thirty minutes we finally pulled up to the mansion and I couldn't be happier that we had finally arrived in one piece, once I had parked the car I then walked to the trunk and I grabbed our overnight bags and then rolled them up to the front steps while Whitley grabbed the gifts from the trunk and then he locked the car.

Once inside I rolled the luggage to our room that was set aside for Whitley and I when we come to visit, once I had reached the bedroom I then put our clothes into the drawers and the closet, Once I had finished putting the clothes away in their rightful spots I then walked into the attached bathroom and I then put our bathroom bags onto the bathroom counters before I headed to the living room.

Once I had arrived in the living room I said Hello Aunt Jessica and Uncle Whitley are here and after a few seconds I heard the sound of running feet that came from the opposite room and I then opened my arms and after a few seconds James jumped into my awaiting arms and then he said Hi Aunty Jess I missed you and I said I missed you to squirt I then said you've gotten bigger than you were four months ago.

James then said Aunty of course I'm getting bigger I'm nearly eight years old in two months time and I said with a chuckle I know squirt though I wish that you would stop growing up because it makes me feel quite old sweetie. A few seconds later Dillon, Callie & Valerie came into the room and they embraced me after I had set James back on the floor.

I said where are you mothers dears? Callie Dillon & Valerie said that their mom was in the kitchen speaking with the adults while James said my mommy is at work and his dad is working as well, I then said why don't you kids go and play in the living room and I will make you four some sandwiches and chips and the kids said okay Aunt/Aunty Jess and then they ran off to play in the living room.

I then walked towards the kitchen to make the sandwiches and once I had entered the kitchen I then got out four slices of bread and some Salami and cheese and I then quickly made the kids sandwiches and I then put some chips onto their plates and I then left to give the kids their food.

I then walked into the living room and I then called the kids over to me and I then gave them their food and they all said thank you and I said you are welcome cuties why don't you eat at the table and you can eat and then we can do something fun together.

I adore my all of my nieces and nephews and I know that Whitley does as well it took many years of helping to break him out of his shell and he has become an even better man over the course of nineteen years and I couldn't be prouder of his progress from the spoiled and arrogant teenager to the humble and honorable man that I married which made me smile.
