Chapter One Hundred & Sixty One Meeting Salem Pt 1

June 10th

(Summer Rose Schnee)

Today Kelly, Mackenzie and I traveled to the Grimm Lands to officially meet Salem, After a seven hour boat ride we had arrived just off the shores of the Grimm Lands when Kelly & I spotted Salem along with a handful of Grimm standing on the cliff overlooking the shore, and I couldn't help but feel a little nervous and I could feel myself start to shake and It only stopped when a hand gripped mine.

I looked at the hand that was holding and I saw that it was very small and I instantly knew who's it was, it was Mackenzie's and she asked Are you okay Momma? And I just nodded my heard even though I was feeling quite nervous on the inside, Mackenzie said everything will be okay Momma I'm sure of it, I then looked at Mackenzie with amazement and I asked How have you become so smart hun? Mackenzie said I plenty of great role models in my life. 

After a couple of minutes the boat had pulled up to the shore and Kelly took Mackenzie off the boat and she proceeded to wade to shore while I grabbed our luggage and once I had grabbed all of our bags I then followed behind them, As I got close to shore I saw that Salem was towering over our daughter with what looked to be an evil smile so I activated my semblance and I dashed over to her.

As I ran closer I grabbed my battle axe off my back and I then dashed in for the kill and just before I could bring my axe down for the killing blow a sword intercepted my blade just above Salem's head and I was puzzled at who stopped and the figure lowered their hood and to my surprise the person who had stopped me mid swing was Grandma Summer.

Grandma Summer pleaded with me Summer calm down please, When I heard her voice it pulled me out of my rage and when I did I looked at Mackenzie and I saw that in my few seconds of blind rage I had terrified her and to my surprise Salem was comforting my daughter, I felt ashamed with allowing myself to tap into my rage and petrifying our youngest.

Salem had placed Mackenzie off to the side and she then approached me and then she did something that caught me off guard and she pulled me into a hug and she held me tightly and she started whisper into my ear it's alright little snowflake, I was greatly taken aback with how comforting Salem's words were.

After a few minutes of holding me tightly Salem let go of me and she said follow me back to the castle we have much to discuss and then Salem walked towards the castle which was about a ten minute walk from the shore,Mackenzie was being carried to the castle on the back of one of the Alpha Grimm's and I didn't know how I truly felt about that.

I hope that Salem didn't have any ulterior motives with this upcoming meeting, I guess that we will just have to wait and find out.
