Chapter One Hundred & Seventy Three The love of a grandmother

June 27th

Today I'm going to visit my youngest grandchildren Taylor Devon & Daniel at the Xiao Long Household, Raven is currently off at the Branwen stronghold helping to break in the new recruits.

Anyways I'm driving over to the house and after a four hour drive I had arrived at the modest three level house, once I had pulling up to into the driveway and I had gotten out of my car I was ambushed by my two youngest grandchildren.

Daniel and Devon said hello grandma how are you today? I then said with a chuckle I'm doing great children, I brought the three of you lunch, Devon then said Taylor got called into work since one of her coworkers had gotten sick.

I was a little bit disappointed that Taylor wasn't going to be here while I was here today but I understand work and family comes first, I then said as I opened the passenger door and I grabbed the kids lunches, I then said let's go inside kids.

The kids and I then walked inside the house, once inside we took off our shoes and put them away in the closet, I then walked out to the dining room and I placed Devon and Daniel's food onto two plates, I got them both hamburgers and fries, I walked to the kitchen and I placed Taylor's hamburger and fries in the fridge.

I then walked back to the dining room and I sat down at the table in between Devon and Daniel and I began eat my roast beef sandwich and curly fries, I watched how the kids were savoring their food and they were enjoying every bite.

Devon then said where's grandma Raven granny? I then said your grandma is off on her yearly trip to the Branwen stronghold helping to train the new recruits, though she should be back sometime tomorrow. 

Don't worry she will come and visit you all very soon, she has just been very busy the last few weeks but her schedule will be more open starting next week, Devon said good because we sure do miss her.

I then said Grandma Raven sure misses you all too, How was the school year Devon? Devon then said it was alright we didn't really learn anything to exciting but I'm really excited to be going to Beacon in two years granny.

I then said I bet you are just enjoy the time you have before you go to Beacon because once you're there you'll learn how to become a huntress or any other type of job that you desire, And you might also meet new friends and form a strong bond with your teammates.

I know that I had great times at Beacon and that's where I met the love of my life and we started out as partners and friends before we eventually moved up to be sisters from other misters to eventually wives to each other.

I enjoyed the rest of my visit with my grandchildren, we laughed and we played games and eventually Taylor got home and she joined in on the fun.
