They held the funeral, on a spring day at noon.
He thought he was invincible, until the day he died.
His friends, and family grieved, loosing him too soon.
 Except his lover, who refused. They hadn't even cried!

This lover did in fact love him, such a smart, and handsome man.
His lover wouldn't grieve, for they still had plans for their futures.
They'd bring him back, with the simple construct of a human.
Together once more, with just a couple of sutures.

They needed just one more thing, missing just one part.
Ripped it from their chest, and gave him their own heart.
