Lani was standing behind the store counter waiting to ring up customers up then a group of curly haired boys one had skie on they all went around getting their snacks and walked up to her putting the stuff on the counter
she was on FaceTime with her brother cause he was on his lunch break "that will be all for y'all" she said with a smile "nah let me get two packs of backwoods and a lighter"
the boy said taking his skie down to she stopped to stare at him for a second before feeling embarrassed at the fact that she did that in front of a group of boys and more embarrassed as her brother said
"girl if u want him just say that" he laughed along with her sending her into a panic it tried not to saw it she hung up the phone on her brother then getting the things he wanted by the time she turned back around
she could see the boy was putting the group in their place for laughing at her "um here's y'all's stuff" lani fake a smile "thank u" the boy said putting his skie back on then him and the group walking out the store
Jay
Jay and his brother dd was sitting in their room when they got hungry "yo dd u tryin go to the deli" jay said "yeah" dd said they got up and walked to the same one from earlier they walked in the store wearing a skie it's was about ten o'clock at night
so he was watching his back he looked at lanii while she was dying of laughter he then walks up to her looking at her making her stop laughing "can I help u" she said shyly
he the took his mask down again then smirked at her she threw her hand over her mouth when she realized that he was jay klickin she didn't have her glasses on earlier but she was stunned at the fact that he was cute
before he walked over to he could hear his voice then music after it so he was guessing she was watching a edit "my god" she said but thinking she said it in her head jay looked at her again smiling making her fold
"so what's ya name" he said "lanii" she smiled "nice to meet u lanii I'm jay" he then reached to shake her hand "nice to finally meet chu jay" she let his hand go "you know me" "yes I love your music" "I appreciate that ma"
he licked his lips he could tell he was making her feel butterflies cause stopped looking at him and put her head down he then lefts her head up making strong eye contact "yo nigga I'm hungry can y'all stop all that and ring my stuff up" dd said with an attitude jay then hit him in the back of his head
dd knew what it meant "I'm sorry may u please ring my stuff up I'm hungry asf" said dd she just chuckled and rung their stuff up "what time u get off" jay asked "in about 20 minutes" she said checking the time "bet in 20 look for a blue Dodge" he said then taking her phone and putting his number in it and walked out with dd

She was walking out of the store then locking it she felt a pair of hands run down her stomach thinking it was jay she turned around with a smile but when she realized she quickly backed away "what do u want" she said
putting the key in her bag "u back" the boy said and pulled her into a hug"you're still in rehab and smelling like straight up liquor" she pulled away "and u said u was gon stick with me though it" he pouted
she could tell he wasn't sober so she had to me carful with what she says "listen I have love for u but I just can't keep going through this with u" he didn't like that she didn't want him no more so he got mad "so u really gon leave me" he then jacked her up on the door
Jay
Jay was pulling up to the store when he saw her fighting him off her and quickly got out "yo tf is u doing" jay said to the boy and pushing him off her jay never really cared about what the situation was he just always reacted then ask what happened after the boy pushed klickin back
Lanii
"stop please" she tried pull them apart but neither stopped fighting "shit i tried" she said to herself she stepped to the side letting them fight jay got on top of the boy punching him repeatedly in the face
"alright jay u got it" she said pulling him off him she help jay off the ground he then grabbed her arm put her in the car "what was that for" she said he just closed the door she crossed her arms then looked out the window to see the boy getting up she smiled to herself finally somebody put him in his place
Jay
He got in the car then looked at her he could tell she was embarrassed once again for not standing up for herself "why u let him do u like that" jay said she just sit there in silence "he's like 6'0 and I'm 5'5" she said
jay took a deep breath before speaking "lanii u can't let people talk and run over u like that" "i know I just" she stuttered "you just what" he put his hand or her back "idk jay it's always been like this"
"like what letting people talk to and do whatever they want to u" jay said "well when u say it like" they both laughed at the way she said it

She laughed with jay then smiling more when he started smiling "I guess you're right" she put her head on the seat "I need to do better with letting people know how I feel" she looked at him
"respect is key u just don't bully somebody just cause they are smaller then u and talk less" "the only way for u to get respect is to earn it" "you're right thank u"
she put her hand on his face he looked at her with eyes of lust she deepened the eye contact then kissing "I got chu" he said before kissing again
