Lizzie's POV

"Finally!" I let a breath out, moving heavy boxes up two flights of stairs is not my style. "Hey do you need help?" My younger brother Jimmy offered. "I don't need your help!" I spat at him, in a joking manner. "You're a moron, you know, right." He smirked at me, leaning on some of his boxes. "MUMMMMMM!!! JIMMY CALLED ME A MORON!!" I screamed jokingly. My brother just gave me a blank stare. "Jimmy don't antagonize your sister!" Our mother yelled at us. "Fine!" I yell back. Lizzie stuck her tongue out at me." I mimicked her, then picked up some of my boxes and left to my room. I choose my bedroom to be on the second floor and Lizzie chose the loft, I don't really know why she wanted the dusty, spider-covered loft.

After dropping all my boxes onto my oak wooden floor, I looked around at my room, "bare" was all that came to mind.
Pale, lime green walls with a white skirting board that wrapped around the box like room.

Time skip

It took me a few hours with help from my mother, I finished my room for now, I lied on top of my bed, hugging my cod plushie, full of excitement. "A new school." I stared up at my ceiling. "Hey Jim, your room looks so good." Lizzie popped her head through the door. "Hey." Was all I said still daydreaming about what our new school is gonna be like. "Mum said that we start school next week and to go to bed it's like 10." (It's Friday btw) "alright." I looked at her and smiled.

I got dressed in my pyjamas and got into my bed and fell asleep.
