"Incoming!" A voice yelled,
I barely had time to turn around before a arm shot out and caught the red blur speeding towards me. It was a frisbee. Jed caught it.
"Nice catch man," Someone called out, we looked over and saw a group of a guys on the field looking over at us expectantly, they were all buff and board, athletes from the looks of it, that or they worked out a lot, they were dressed similarly, short pants and tank tops, most definitely jocks from the looks alone, "Toss it back,"
Jed did, and the guy caught it. The others around him cheered, which caused them to call out, asking Jed to join their in their game, he wanted to, I could practically seen his non-existent tail (without the shift under a full moon) waging, before he turned to me expectant.
"Hey babe, do you mind if I go play with them?" Jed asked me, I looked back at him and nodded, he smiled brightly, then leaned over to planting a kiss on my lips then cheek before climbing off the picnic blanket, heading over to join the group,
"Must be so easy," Lizzie spoke up,
"What is?" I asked as I turned back to look at her, only to find her looking over my shoulder to the group playing with the frisbee,
"Having a golden retriever as boyfriend," Lizzie added on,
"As opposed too?" I asked her and she pointed over to MG who was sitting beside her with his head in his laptop, headphones on, listening to something as he typed away on his keyboard, "Okay, I see your point, but still, at least he's here and not..."
I turned and pointed to Jed, who had taken off his shirt and was running around with the other guys, whom he didn't know, like it was greatest thing in the world. There was sweat glistening across his chest and arms, hair slightly damp, and a mega watt smile across his face.
"You were saying?" Lizzie asked and I heard the amused condensation toned in her voice,
"Never mind," I happily chirped, after seeing Jed shirtless and happy, as I spun around to face her, "Where's Jo and Hope?"
"Josie is meeting with biology lecturer, sent some email saying he wanted to meet the class informally, to get a good grasp of their knowledge, and Hope is-" Lizzie begun to say,
"Right here," Hope called out, we turned and saw her with Cleo and Kaleb in tow coming towards us,
"How is Jed already shirtless and who are those guys he's running around with?" Kaleb asked as he sat beside Cleo,
"It's like 80 degrees out here," Hope said fanning herself, the sun had come out particularly brighter this morning, hence the reason why we and about 80% of the student body took advantage of the sun light, to come out and mingle and get the full grasp of the college environment,
"Don't question it, and no clue, they just kind of assimilated him into their game," I muttered reaching for my phone to take a quick picture of Jed jumping, albeit 'a bit too high jump to be human' to catch an incoming throw from one of the a guys, which gained a roar of cheers from the others, I smiled at the sight before turning back to the group, "Just let it happen,"
