As everyone when to the table and sat down, the food strart to load up at the table that Katie had cook for us. I sat next to Peter while Clark sat the other side of the table.

"It smells good" Mom said sitting down as well.

"I know, Sophia told me" Katie said as I gave Mom a seriously look her way.

"So, Dani what do you like doing?" Katie asked me while I take a bite out of the chicken.

"Um, well I love reading alot and I joined the book club at school, but I am writing a book of my  own and I hope to publish it someday" I told Katie who nodded with a big smile on her face to me.

"Dani, is just like her father with the books, ever since he died it's been quiet without him reading out loud" Mom said this was the first time since Mom really spoke about Dad.

I look down at my plate while I squeeze Peter's hand feeling he squeeze my hand back as well.

"I'm so sorry for you both" Katie told us looking at both Mom and I.

"Anyway, how are you liking it at the Bay Katie?" I asked changing the subject while putting a smile on my face.

"Oh, I love everything already Dani" Katie replied to me.

I smile grew on my face quiet quickly, when I first through of Peter I though he's whole family would be horrible and mean like he use to be, but I guess I was wrong about it and I already love Katie already, she is like a second Mom to me.

We soon ate dinner in silence not really talking, only Clark talked about how excited he is to start school here once summer was over for him. Clark seems like a really cheerful, good person and I like people like him.

He's room was big, With a double bed, a desk, posters around he's walls, a wardrobe and a another door for the bathroom along with a side table where he's lamp is. I looked around while Peter look in he's wardrobe for something.
