Forever And Always, Promise

'mommy i dont wanna change houses" I pouted from the backseat of my moms car as we drove toward out new house. We were moving from our old house because Daddy left us, I asked mommy why but she just told me that I would understand when I was a big girl, Im already five I think that is big enough.

"I know Bella boo, but you will love the new house I promise" she told me, glancing in the mirror to smile at me. We pulled up out the front of a house and mommy announced that we were home. I got out of the car, clutching my black stuffed monkey Sparky tightly to my chest. I looked up at the large two storey house that towered over me. It was huge and much nicer than our old house. The garden was filled with purple and pink flowers and the house was white with a red door. Mommy told me that the mover men had set up all our stuff the day before so the house was ready for us. She led us inside and took me up to my room.

All my stuff was here and it looked just like my old room, except it had its on bathroom and closet and a small balcony, the doors onto the balcony were opened and I walked out. The balcony looked out and I could see a window across from mine and the beach was out further it was very nice. Mommy told me we were in a place called California and that it is hot here, she is right it is hot. "So what do you think Sparky" I asked my monkey, turning him around so I could see he's beady eyes.

"Are you talking to you toy monkey" I heard a voice ask from behind me. I gasped in surprise and spun around dropping Sparky as I did. Leaning against the balcony door frame was a boy about my age. I dropped my eyes to my shoes and began to chew on my bottom lip, something I do when im scared, shy or nervous I was a little of all of them right now. even though I wasnt looking at the boy I could still picture his face as I was looking at the sandles. He had golden blonde curls that fell into his bright blue eyes.

"Does your lip taste nice" I heard his voice again. I kept my eyes down and continued chewing on my lip. He moved closer and picked up sparky.

"Cool monkey, whats his name?" he asked me.

"Sparky" I whispered

"Im Cole, I live next door right there" He told me pointing to the window I could see from the balcony. "My mommy said your new here im seven, so whats your name" he asked

"Bella, im five" I replied

Cole reached out his hand and put two of his fingers under my chin, gently pushing it up so I met his gaze with my brown eyes.

"Well Bella bear we will be best friends forever and always, promise?" he asked holding out his pinky finger for me to promise. I gazed into his eyes and stuck out my pinky finger hooking it with his.

"Promise"

Well guys this is just a new story idea I had for a bestfriends story. This is just a short prologue chapter the next one will jump ahead to when Cole and Bella are teenagers. I wanted to write this as a trial to see what you guys think and if I should continue. It wont be a typical cliche story it will have some twists in it, so let me know what you guys think, vote and comment and tell me if you think I should continue and upload the next chapter Xx
