Hey guys I love this one read and enjoy dont forget to vote and comment if you think it deserves it :)

I watched his back as he walked away from me toward his house, the way his black t shirt hugged his muscles as he strode away making my heart crash in my chest. Finn cleared his throat and I turned to face him. His face had softened but I could still see tightness in his jaw.

“Sorry about that, he’s my best friend” I explained, rolling my eyes and putting my hands on my bare hips. He smiled warmly at me and took my hand, pulling me with him as he walked us back through the front door. His large warm hand enclosed around my small hand felt oddly perfect like my hand was made to fit into his. He led us to the kitchen and pulled out two sodas handing me one, before opening his own and taking a long drink. I did the same, not realising how thirsty I actually was until I started drinking. I pulled myself up onto the bench, letting me legs swing back and forth through the air. I was dry by now and I was starting to get that uncomfortable sticky feeling you get when you are almost dry but not quiet.

Finn leaned against the counter opposite me and let his eyes roam my body, spending more time with his eyes glued to my own like he was trying to see exactly what I was thinking. I raised an eyebrow at him which caused him to laugh and put his can on the bench he was leaning on.

“Can I ask you something” he asked, tilting his head to the side in an adorable way that made a smile unconsciously slip onto my lips. I nodded my head, and took another drink.

“How long have you been in love with that guy” as soon as the words left his mouth, I spat my drink everywhere choking on it. I began having a coughing fit and bent over letting my head rest on my knees. Finn rushed over and pat his large hand on my back, trying to stop me from coughing. When I finally calmed down I looked up and met his eyes. They held a questioning yet amused look, it was the most beautiful look I had ever seen. He looked genuinely interested in what I was about to say like he was hanging on the words that were about to come out of my mouth. But he also looked a little bit confused and worried, but I couldn’t put my finger on why he would be looking at me like that.

“it’s complicated” I muttered, letting myself slide from the bench on to the floor. I turned toward the staircase and began walking up it. I could feel Finn’s eyes burning into my back as I walked.

“Everything is only as complicated as you make it” he called to me, making me stop and turn to look at him. He was standing at the bottom of the staircase looking up at me. His tone chest and abs on display and the electric blue board short he had on creating the perfect contrast on his tanned skin. I took a deep breath and turned back around continuing up the stairs

“Drop it Finn” I called over my shoulder, walking into the bathroom and closing the door. I leant my back against it and took a deep breath and rolled my eyes. Is it really me that is making this whole thing complicated, I mean I thought I made my feelings pretty clear when I kissed him the way I did but obviously not and I’m not about to go on some romantic movie confession of my love for Cole if he can’t see it then he isn’t worth it that’s what I think and im sticking to it. I pulled off my bikini and turned the shower on stepping in and making sure the water was cool so my burning skin could get some relief.  I began to hum the tune to hey mickey in my head, as it is our warm up song for cheerleading practice and I was listening to it the other night to come up with some new warm ups for when school starts back up next week. I began to get more into it and started dancing in the shower, shaking my hands like I had pom poms losing myself in the amazing feeling I get whenever I move my muscles to a beat. I was up to the chorus again and as I spun around flicking my wet hair I slipped and twisted my ankle, falling to the floor of the shower a scream escaping my lips. I sat on the floor as I regained my breath, my ankle pulsating with pain. I reached up and turned the water off, letting my head rest against the wall of the shower.
