Author's POV:

Y/n sat at her desk with a pile of textbooks and notes scattered around her. She had her finals in a month, and the pressure was mounting. As a final year student, she knew she had to perform well to secure her scholarship. She ran her fingers through her hair, taking a deep breath and continuing to pour over her notes.

Meanwhile, in the heart of Seoul, Kim Taehyung sat in his plush office chair, looking over the day's reports. As CEO of KTH Enterprise, he had a busy schedule, filled with back-to-back meetings and appointments. But as he read over the numbers, his mind couldn't help but wander. He had been betrayed by someone he thought he loved, and since then, he had been avoiding the concept of love entirely. He believed it was just a myth and that all people had selfish intentions.

The day moved along, and Y/n continued studying in her dorm room, taking breaks only to eat or go to class. She was the quiet, reserved type, content with her books and coding. However, one particular event stood out from that day. She had seen a young boy, Kim Jun-woo, being bullied by a group of older boys. Y/n knew she had to help, and so she stood up to the bullies, and they backed down. Jun-woo thanked her, and they parted ways.

Meanwhile, Taehyung sat through a series of meetings, trying to keep his mind focused on the task at hand. His phone rang, interrupting his thoughts. It was his older sister, Kim Soo-ah. They talked for a few minutes, and then she mentioned her best friend's name again. Soo-ah had been trying to set Taehyung up with her friend, but he was not interested. He tried to explain that to her again, but she didn't seem to listen. He sighed, knowing he'd have to deal with this topic again later.

The day eventually drew to a close, and Y/n finally closed her books, ready to get some sleep. She couldn't help but think about the young boy she had helped earlier. She wondered if he was okay and if he had friends who would stand up for him.
Taehyung, on the other hand, left the office and headed home, lost in thought about the past and his current situation. He had been so hurt in the past that he didn't know if he could ever love again. But something in the way his sister talked about her friend made him wonder if there was more to love than he had experienced.

As the sun set over Seoul, Y/n and Taehyung settled into their respective homes, their thoughts drifting off to the events of the day. They were two strangers living very different lives, but little did they know, their paths were about to cross in a way they never expected.
