Wouldn't I be such a fool
To cast a blind eye,
Over our god- sent,
destined rendezvous.
You know quite well beloved,
Destiny is not for me to believe in.
Yet- look how I am at a loss
To comprehend how our paths met.
I pray my gratefulness
For each second I get with you.
Perhaps the father in heaven,
Really did send you.
Perhaps he knew, I couldn't be strong for too long
Hadn't I had you to rely on-
My rock, my jewel, let this be my unheard song.
We remember quite well, how I dug the earth
To find your heart.
It surprises me where I got that strength to start..
Surely he was with me the whole time,
Making sure, to lead you to me
And me to you by a string of timeless time.
Timeless we were, timeless we are
I hope timeless, we'll always stay-
And if not, then don't you fret
I have a record of rewriting destiny, my friend,
Something common we both share.
