Graduation

Alright I can't write anymore of the Gwen's Parents at the moment.

Honestly it's hard to get it perfect without ruining a character so summarizing what happened while Ben was outside with Frank and Max [or Grampa Lizard]:

Gwen cursed Natalie out. Natalie pretending like Gwen was in the wrong. Screaming match. Charmcaster may have started the actual escalation to breaking shit by Levitating the couch and both Tennyson Ladies had just grabbed the first thing avaliable.

Ben had went Ultimate Upgrade to prevent his Aunt and Uncle from getting actually injured. Gwen is 15 and their daughter so the cops(Plumbers) can't really pin anything for her actions unless she actually did anything permanent. Ben wasn't guilty of anything since there wasn't a restraining order and didn't threaten or strike either of them.

Ben's still most likely gonna get some mandatory extra work since Max is gonna be pissed when he turns back into a human.

Frank and Max had an actual discussion and Max has not forgivened the two but Frank had decided to actually act like a grown man and admitted his mistake. He has no reason to even pretend things could go back to the way they were before but has promised to wire money to Max for Gwen.

Sorry I couldn't write it the way I wanted but I just couldn't get it exactly how I wanted.

Rustbucket December 20th

The Plumbers were assembling for the end of the year party and Ben was feeling it.

Ben remembered his first medal for stopping the Highbreed. That shock when someone showed up and told him he was invited to a feast celebration on Augstaka by Rhiny. The last son of the House of Di Ralla officially becoming the ruler and giving Ben an award that no Non-Highbreed has ever touched let alone held.

The weight of that thing in his hand felt...glorious.

The second one...Ben honestly couldn't remember it all that well but he remembered the point he stopped treating them with the same reverence and started piling them.

Ben's latest medal was the one Hulka gave him in basic. That one had the same feel as the Emblem of Valor the Highbreed gave him.

He hadn't gotten one in so long he hadn't set in how much a big deal to earn em.

"Shame yours are back home." Trixie said as Max had pulled out his out of a lockbox.

"You can wear one of mine." Max said "Your badge says you have a few of em and I ain't wearing the Purple Octogon when I got the Silver Pentigram."

"I still don't get the medals of the Plumbers." Gwen said "I mean I know about the Silver Star and a Purple Heart exists but the fact you guys refer to these by shape and color and not Metal of Honor or Valor or-"

"Those badges are still valid to the Plumbers but there are...different definitions depending on what neck of the woods your in." Ben said " Metal of Valor to a Nemuina isn't the same to say a Tetramand. Bravery to a Galvan and a Chimera Sui Generis are very very very different definitions."

"What's the definitions?" Gwen asked.

"Where your standing." Albeta said "If a Galvan was armed and dangerous in a situation and Ben stopped it he'd get a thank you. The danger is usually calculated when factoring what earned that badge proportioned to the one who earned it to the actual danger. I'm surprised Ben even earns a badge at all."
