Chapter 35

I held the letter close to my heart as I cried my eyes out "My Mustafa" I whispered as i presed small kisses on the ring he gave me and letter, I looked up and saw that it was already morning, I sat up and wipe my tears away, I then placed the letter in special box and slide the ring on my finger. I put on new dress and fix myself up, I walked over to the mirror and look at myself one last time before walking out of the chamber "Everything will be fine" I kept repeating it to myself as I walked across the hall "Hieren" I suddenly heard my name being called do I looked up and saw that it was my mother, she walked to me amd placed her hands on my shoulders "Good morning darling, did you sleep well?" She asked with big smile on her face, I just stared at her "How could I? Im scared if something happens to Mustafa" I said before swallowing hard, she let go of my shoulders and stepped back "Hieren-" "what did you do Mother? Why did father made that decision?" I cut her off "Hieren I didnt do anything, Mustafa wanted to kill his father to get the throne" She said calmly but I shook my head "Mustafa would never do anything like that, I dont believe you!" With that I walked away from her and to Mustafa chamber "Tell prince I came" I told the guard "Sultana, Prince is not in his chamber" The guard said "well where is he then?" "He is in garden with his family Sultana" The guard said and I sighed"so he is with that woman..." I whispered to myself before walking off. We all gathered in my mothers chamber to see my father since he is going. He walked in the room with my brothers following him from behind, he stood in frost of us and smiled, I looked behind him and saw that Mustafa was not there so I just lowered my head and waited for my father to come too me, when he did, He held my head in his hands gently and kissed my forehead, I hugged all my brothers and wished them good luck before they went out.

We all walked in the garden to watch them leave, I could see Mustafa still talking with gis family, I just looked away, they all hoped on their horses and left. I couldn't stop my tears from falling down, I was crushed, my heart is in milion pieces "Mommy" I suddenly heard little voice and small hand holding my finger "Dont cry " Mehmed said to me and i knee down to be on his level and hugged him tightly "I wont baby" I whispered as i picked him up. We all walked back in the castle, me and Mehmed went into my chamber to eat breakfast "Eat some of this too darling" I told him as I poured some honey on bread and placed it into his mouth, he chewed it before saying "Mommy, can I go with Orhan to Manisa? He told me he wanted me to go do we can play all the time" Mehmed said exited "Absolutely not Mehmed, youre not going anywhere you are too young to be without me " I shook my head "But his mom told me she will take care of me" He pouted and I almost choked on my food at the mention of that woman "Mehmed I said no and thats final " He pouted more and I just watched him "Dont pout Mehmed, i dont want you to be without me " I patted his head and poked his cheeks "Can i at least go play with him in the garden" He asked abd i sighed "Linda, take Mehmed to garden" I told my maid and she took him.
Some time later i called Affife Hatun "you called Sultana?" She asked and I nodded "please call the prayer lady" she bowed before leaving. Since that day ive been praying every day for Mustafa to come home alive and healthy, its been few days and still no massage from father, I also noticed my belly getting bigger which is not a good sight. We just finished praying hour and my mother walked in the chamber "Hieren are you serious? This is 3rd time today!"She  yelled and the pray lady walked out "Theres nothing wrong with praying" I simply said "You have child! " I gently got up from my sitting position"Mother im sure Mehmet is fine, he is with the maids" She walked closer to me, she started speaking but Suddenly looked down at my belly " Have you gained weight? You completely let yourself go Hieren..." She said while shaking her head, I looked down in shame, we stayed silent for few moments before she said " im sending you to Mihirmah's palace for few days, until you start behaving well because this is ridiculous" I looked up at her while furrowing my eyebrows "Mother, theres no way im going there! Theres nothing wrong with me!" I yelled frustrated"its for the best, I will send Mihirmah letter and you will leave in the morning " "I am not going anywhere and you cant make me!!" I yelled "Hieren its for the best" she sighed, i kneed down in front of her "mother please dont make me go, ill change i promise just please dont do this to me" I said while sobbing, she looked down at me before caressing my head "Hieren enough, im sure Mihirmah would love to have you there as well" She said before walking out.
We entered Mihirmah's palace "Welcome sister" she said with smile before hugging me "thank you" i whispered" take her stuff to her chamber " Mihirmah told the maid and maid did that. We sat in their family room while drinking cherry tea "i have to return home Mihirmah... this is not good" I whispered as i looked out of window , she just stayed silent "I cant do anything about it..its our mothers choice" I looked down at my tea cup before taking another long sip "Hieren..." Mihirmah started and i looked at her "yeah?" I could tell she hasitated to ask something "are you... perhaps... pregnant?" She asked and i Opened my eyes wide "w-what?.." she lowered her eyes to my belly then back to me "your belly.." "Mihirmah how could I get pregnant? I don't have anyone" I said "You just look-" "IM NOT PREGNANT MIHIRMAH" I yelled before standing up "Hieren calm down" she said and I took a deep breath
"Im sorry"
