As the sun came up, Beyoncé could be found doing her morning routine of sitting in the barn. This time Onika had joined her and was doing it with alongside her.
"You ready for tonight?" Onika asked while copying Beyoncé's notes. "Mhm. My first time goin' to homecoming' with a date. Usually I tag along with Solange."
"Well I'm excited for take you out tonight to see the city and my friends."
"I'm excited to try city food!" Beyoncé giggled as Tina walked into the barn.
"You girls better come eat breakfast before all the bacon is go-" She was interrupted by Beyoncé bolting away from them and into the house.
She walked over to the bacon rack and was met with nothing.
"Daddy! You have like 10 pieces on your plate!"
"And they're all M I N E!" He spelled out as she sighed. "But daddy-"
"Nope." He moved his plate as she sighed and walked over to a stool. She watched as he bit into his bacon before she grabbed a hand full and ran off into the pantry.
"Beyoncé!"
"You should've known she would take some. That girl will go to war over bacon." Tina laughed as she sat more eggs in his plate.
"Onika when will we be able to see the lovely outfits you made for tonight?" Tina questioned as onika hummed. "I'm gonna spend today tweaking it up then you'll see it when it's on us!l-" She we're interrupted by Beyoncé running from the pantry and upstairs as her father shook his head. They proceeded eating until Tina began to clean.
"I get off at 4:30 this evening that leaves me with 2 hours to get dressed." Beyoncé spoke while walking downstairs in her work attire.
