Leah Williamson| A Royal Romance

My name is Alexander George Charles Mountbatten-Windsor I'm the great great grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, the grandson of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and the first born son to Prince William I don't know my mother as she abandoned me and left my with my father. But when my dad married Catherine she became my mother anyway My dad was 18 at the time and well let's just say it was a scandal within the royal family. When it was announced that my father had a son the government called for me to not be in the line of succession. And that when my father gets married the first child will be in line to the throne. But with countless of chats my grandfather had with my granny and grandpa and other members of the royal family it was decided that I would be in line to the throne. Anyway enough about me back to the story

So today my father and I were going to watch the Women's Euros final at Wembley England v Germany it was going to be a historic match. As my father was the president of the FA so he regularly went to important football matches and in his down time he went to watch football matches with my siblings when I was younger my dad tried to get me to be a Aston Villa fan but he was unsuccessful with me and tried with George and well he's fave up now. Who do I support well what do they say London is Red, die hard gooner fan. I've gone to countless of games at the Emirates stadium to watch the men and I've met a few of them too, I had a season ticket. But I also had a season ticket to the Arsenal Women's team and I would go and see them regularly at Meadow park in disguise. It was actually at Meadow park where I met my girlfriend of 4 years. Who was she well she's a footballer England Captain and Arsenal vice captain Leah Williamson.

We met when I presented the women's team the women's fa cup trophy when they won it in 2016, from 2016 me and Leah became really good friends and she'd invite me to the club to watch her play and sometime sit with her family. It was nice as she didn't see me as a prince she just saw me for who I was just Alex. We then began dating at the start of 2018 we kept it casual no one really knew apart from her family and a few of her friend she could trust and then after a few months I told my dad and mum which they were both happy for us. And then once we hit the year mark that's when I told my granny and grandpa and well they wanted to meet her straight away, she had already met my grandfather and Camilla which they loved her too my Uncle Harry and his wife Meghan met her too she got invited to the reception of their wedding which I was thankful for, but the true testament was meeting granny which would be the off putting thing. So I'm the June of 2019 that's when Leah met Granny and grandpa, Leah was a huge fan of the royal family so she tried not to freak out when she met my grandmother and grandfather, I obviously had to teach her the things she must do when meeting her you know the royal protocols. So once we arrived at Buckingham we walked into the drawing room where we were met with my granny and grandfather and the corgis of course . Once I greeted my great grandparents I then introduced Leah to them so she curtsied and greeted them as Your Majesty and Your Royal Highness and within a minute my granny insisted that she called them Phillip and Lizzie now you know when my grandparents like the person your bringing to meet as they would never allow your significant other to call them Lizzie and Phillip. 

There has been countless of times when granny has asked me when I'm going to ask Leah to marry me and I always say i am not sure, I want to marry her right now but I know that eventually she would have to give up her football career and I am not sure that she is ready for that now. What I do need to do is ask Leah about what she would be getting herself into if she did marry me and then I need to ask Granny if it would be possible for Leah to continue her career until she retires which would be in about 5-10 years, so once I have that discussion and work out what we can do then I'll do it officially. But the first step was to sort of make it known to the world that we were dating but not actually announce it and probably the easiest way would to either be being more affectionate in public and just be together. 

So thats where me and Leah are up to now. So it is the summer of 2022 and what was happening that is significant in the Women's football world. Euros 2022 held right here in England, Granny had allowed me to step away from Royal duties whist the tournament was happening. So for all of the games so far I have been sat with Leah's family and I even supported a Williamson shirt but there wasn't much speculation in the media as I had attended some Arsenal games as sat with her family. But there was a few people on social media who have put two and two together and are waiting for us to confirm it. 

Today was the final. England V Germany and this was a historic game, I was joining my father who is the president of the Fa and will probably join him when handing the medals out to the girls and the trophy to the winner which will hopefully be England. I had already arrived at the stadium and had found Leah's family and greeted them before the match, I then went to the changing rooms and knocked "Are you girls decent" I said as I walked in with my eyes closed "We are your royal highness" I heard from Ella "you know Tooney you are lucky you can get away with that sarcasm" I said and she laughed "Anyway I wanted to say to you girls just go out there enjoy your time enjoy the game take in every moment because it will feel like the games going to last forever but it will go by so fast, you have the whole nation behind you and my family of course, you have made us proud so whatever happens just know as a nation we are all proud of you" I said as I applaud the girls and gave each of them a hug "You know babe if this royal role doesn't work out you should either become a motivational speaker or maybe become a football manager" Leah said as she pulled me in for a kiss "hmm I don't know about the motivational speaker thing but a manager that could be a possibility" I said with a laugh "Anyway girls i'm gonna leave, I'll be watching good luck" I said as I walked out

THEY FUCKING DID IT. EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS. I celebrated with my dad before we headed down to the stage to hand out the medals to Germany and to England. We shook hands with the german players and then the England players came me and dad handed they girls their medals Leah being left till last, I handed her the medal as I pulled her in for a hug and whispered in her ear 'I love you' then my dad gave her a hug and told her how proud of her he was and handed the trophy, she then took it off him and walked to celebrate with the girls. 

After a little while my father was on his way out of the stadium to go back home whilst I stayed and was going to join the girls with their celebrations tonight. I had got rid of my blazer and shirt and had my Williamson shirt underneath, I went over to Leah on the pitch, the german fans had left and it was a load of the england fans left I wrapped my arms round her waist and pulled her into me and kissed her neck "babe i'm all sweaty" she said "I don't care i'm fucking proud of you" I said as she turned around in my arms and wrapped hers around my neck we both looked into each others eyes Leah pulled us into a kiss and the fans erupted into cheers and well photos were going to be taken "Well I guess its official now" I said "I guess it is" she said "I love you" I said " I love you too" she said

Leah and Alexander got married and were known as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, after his granny died his grandfather became king and his dad was now the prince of wales, Leah continued playing football for another 5 years and when she retired she stepped into royal duties and was now a full time working royal. To many people's surprised Harry and Meghan returned to the uk for the wedding and not long after they returned permanently. 

Not even 10 years later, King Charles had died and the crown was passed to his father who became King William V and Queen Consort Catherine. Leah and Alexander had 3 children of their own. 15 Years later his father passed away from cancer and that was when Alexander became King Alexander IV and Leah became Queen Consort Leah the pair continued to reign until they both died months of each other when they turned 100 and Alexander had became the second longest reigning monarch coming underneath his great grandmother
