It's been 3 days since the sleepover,
you've been held up in your house since then.

You and Steven never actually exchanged numbers so there's no way of contact other than crossing the town to his house.

you passed out twice while cleaning up the mess you made when looking for your stuffed animal,
you went to clean the dried blood spots from the night you met Steven. but, you realized you were out of cleaning supplies

As much as you hated it, you had to go to the store and get more.
You threw on a hoodie and some sweatpants and headed out the door.

☁️ It's pretty hot out...☁️ you thought to yourself. a bead of sweat drips down your forehead as you trek to the store
"This is what I get for not checking the weather" you grumble.
At this point you had absolutely no patience, you were ready to attack anyone and anything preventing you from getting home faster.
You had homicidal thoughts at every single red light...

You had finally made it to the store
you took one step inside and you almost cried,

It was hotter than it was outside...

You looked around and saw maintenance people working on the air conditioner.

You practically ran to the cleaning isle,
you wanted to be out of there as fast as possible

you found the cheapest brand of spray cleaner and went to the checkout.

and of course, the line was long.

you really just can't catch a break.

you were zoning out,
you honestly contemplated stealing the cleaner and making a run for it.

After what felt like hours you were next in line

you paid for your stuff and rushed out of the store,

and I mean rushed,
like actually ran

you weren't even halfway home when you started feeling nauseous. you were dehydrated, lightheaded, and so fucking hot

"Maybe running wasn't such a good idea..." you say while stumbling forward

You had a growing headache, and your body felt heavy. you fell to the ground in exhaustion

"Uughh this is NOT how I wanted to die..." You close your eyes and cover your face with your arm

You let out a squeak, you've been picked up bridal style

you open your eyes and see Steven

"Mmmh of course" you mumble "Hey Steve-o" you ruffle his hair.

Steven was too busy rushing to his house to answer you
