"Welcome to my room!" You gestured widely.

Steven looked around with stars in his eyes. "YOUR ROOM IS SO PRETTY!"

"Yeah, I guess" you chuckled, rubbing the side of your arm.

"What do you mean you g-" 

Steven cut himself off with a gasp.

he ran to the nook in the back of your room.

it held your couch, your ruko tv, and your gaming console,
and it had a built-in shelf that held your games

"YOU HAVE ALL THE LONELY BLADE FIGHTING GAMES??"

You just giggled at this "Yeah."


you walked up behind him

"And here I thought you didn't like lonely blade"

"You can't go wrong with a good fighting game" you shrugged

"Woah" he picked up a different game "I've never seen this before"

"You've never seen The Conjoining of Isaaca?!" you said shocked

Steven just shook his head no

"Oh my god, we're playing right now" You snatch the game from him and turn on your Zbox

"I have all the DLC's" you said proudly.

The Zbox finally started up

"How much better is the Zbox series Z to a Zbox one?" Steven spoke up

"Ohhh my god it's like SO much better!" You exclaimed

"Literally like every five seconds, I was ready to bodyslam my Zbox one" 

"...Oh" Steven chuckled

You put the disk in the Zbox and watch as the game starts up.

You watched the intro and Steven was dumbfounded

you burst out laughing at this.

"How could she...?" was all he managed to get out.

You thought this was hilarious

you two played for a few hours, switching places as players one and two

you ate snacks and laughed and even raged a couple times

but eventually, you two got bored of that

you decided to play one of the lonely blade fighting games

Steven was losing BAD

"Uggh! What the heck!" 

You just laughed at him

"Poor Steven" you ruffled his hair "If you ask nicely I might let you win."

He just glared at you "Start a new round..."

three rounds later he still hadn't won once

"I SWEAR, THIS CONTROLLER IS BROKEN OR SOMETHING"

"Pff- Maybe you're broken"

"NO I-" he stared at you for a second "Switch controllers with me"

You laughed... but he was serious
You switched controllers

three more rounds

three more losses for Steven

Alright now you felt a little bad

Fourth round comes

you let him beat you

"YES, FINALLY!"

"Good job Steven" you giggle

He sits down and turns to you

"You let me win didn't you"

You smiled and nodded vigorously

eventually, you guys got tired of gaming altogether

you unhooked the Tv from the Zbox and moved it and the tv stand over to the end of the bed.

And by you, I mean Steven

You were gonna watch tv shows till you passed out

You and Steven were watching some show about crying food

you couldn't really pay attention

you were sitting up and lying down and sitting back up

your neck and shoulders hurt really bad

guess that's what you get for laying on your stomach and sides all day

not to mention your bed was kinda shitty

it was your mom's old bed
 
she gave you this when she didn't feel like buying a new one


"You okay?" Steven asks

it was the fifth time you had sat up

"Hm?" you looked to him

"If you're bored we can watch something else"
