⭐Any land is Funland when I'm with you!⭐ PT2

You and Steven pull up to Funland.
Through the car, you can hear people's screams,
and the sounds of the various rollercoasters and other rides

"Here we are!" Steven exclaims

You and Steven both exit the car.

"Welcome to Funland!" Steven gestures widely at the entrance.

"Hmm... sounds loud..." you say, already regretting your decision to come

"Give it a chance" Steven pouts

"There's too many people...."

"Come on" Steven says chuckling

he grabs both your arms and leads you inside, walking backward.
he stops just on the other side of the welcome sign

"See, now we're inside" he smiles "Not so bad is it?" he chuckles

"I guess.." you mumble

he holds your hand as he leads you further inside

A blush forms on your cheeks
His hands are soft and warm
His grasp was firm but gentle
he held you like you were a flower being protected from a storm
 
"So," Steven speaks up, breaking you out of your trance "What do you wanna do first? We can ride something or play one of the many games." he smiles brightly

"Uhm..." you look around for a bit and then... you spotted it...

one of those pull-up games where if you can hold a pull-up for a certain amount of time you win a prize

You gasped and ran towards it
Steven following close behind

"Oh, Steven look!"  you said while pointing
the prize for one minute was a giant stuffed bear wearing a hoodie.

And I mean GIANT

it was bigger than both you AND steven COMBINED

A gem was running the stand
she was some form of quartz
looking around it seems that most of the workers were some kind of quartz

"Hold onto this bar and win a bear!" the quartz running the pull-up stand said excitedly

and so you gave it a shot
you jumped up to the bar and you held on
...

barely five seconds later you fell to the ground

and so you tried again... and again, and again, and again

you dropped to the ground defeated
"UUghh" you covered your face with your arm "I can barely hold on for five seconds, how am I supposed to go a full minute" you sighed "I'm useless.'

"No you're not!" Steven said helping you up "So, you can't do this, but there are tons of other things you CAN do!" he smiled

"Like?" you said flatly

"Erm..."

"Exactly" You slump back to the ground and tuck your head into your knees

Steven sits down next to you
He puts an arm around your shoulder and looks at you

"You can't get discouraged so easily"

"Yes I can..." you say, your voice muffled 
you lift your head up and look Steven in the eyes
"Why're you friends with me, Steven?"

He chuckles awkwardly "I already answered that Y/N"

"But we know nothing about each other" you pout "How can you befriend someone you barely know"

"You learn that stuff along the way" Steven smiles "I like being around you. Do you like being around me?"

You blush "Yes, But..."

"No buts!" Steven says standing up. "Live in the moment, don't question it!"

he grabs your hands and lifts you up off the ground
"Now, let's win you that bear!"

and so Steven held onto the bar for a minute straight and won you the bear

You thanked him dozens of times

The bear was too big to lug around the park so Steven went to put it in the car,
 leaving you sitting alone at a small pizza vendor to wait for him.
You decided to order yourself and Steven some pizza, ignoring every bone in your body screaming not to talk to anyone.
You waited in line trying to convince yourself to go sit back down and abandon mission,
and you were just about to, too except now... you were next in line...
you sighed and stepped up

"Can I ..um-"

the vendor cuts you off

"Speak up ma'am I can't hear you"

And just like that, you were ready to cry

Pushing past that feeling you speak up

"Sorry, uhm... can I get a small cheese pizza"
you were staring HARD at the ground
you were avoiding eye contact like crazy
you squeezed the body of your stuffed animal to the point you felt you were gonna rip them
