⭐Any land is Funland when I'm with you!⭐PT1

STEVEN

Steven lays in his bed, he had awoken about five minutes ago, but he wasn't ready to get up,
you were so warm against him. He wished this moment would never end.
But unfortunately, it had to.
Steven sat up slowly so as not to disturb you.
He got off the bed and stared at your resting body,
you looked so peaceful, so content.
He could see the dark circles and bags under your eyes vanishing.
 you were lightly snoring, and there was drool dripping from your mouth.
Steven smiled happily. ☁️She probably hasn't slept in days.☁️ he checked the time on his phone, "1:25 PM" ☁️Stars, Did we really sleep in this late?!☁️

He looked back up at you and sighed, "You deserve it." he smiled.

He showered and got dressed, then made his way to the kitchen to make you both breakfast.

About an hour passed and Steven was almost done.

He took a step back from the table and sighed happily.
Needless to say, he was pretty proud of himself.

He was putting the final touches on this perfect breakfast,

pretty slices of strawberry, extra dollops of cream yada yada.
All he needed to do was make the eggs and it'd all be set.
Just then Amethyst came out of her room

"Steevaannn, I SMELL BREAKFAST!"

"Amethyst, NO!"

Amethyst leaps towards the table, but Steven quickly knocks her out of the air with his shield

he then bubbles himself and the table

"This is for me and Y/N when she wakes up." he said sternly with his arms crossed "If you'd like you can drink the leftover pancake batter."


Amethyst sits on the countertop, drinking the batter
"Who's Y/N?"

"She's a-"

Amethyst cuts him off "SHE? Way to go little man!" she eats the mixing bowl "I knew you had it in you!"

Steven blushes
"I- what? no! It's not like that, we're just friends."

"Sureee, Just friends," she said with a smirk. she gets up and walks back to the temple gate "Try not to break her!" she yells as she exits to her room.

Steven drops the bubble and sighs

"I mean..." You speak up

Steven lets out a yelp and jumps to turn around

And there you were, sitting on the bottom step, fidgeting with your stuffed animal, looking at him. your expression, unreadable.

"You can break me if you want" you continue

Steven blushes.
He looks to the side

His face lights up as he remembers
"I-I made breakfast!" He dramatically gestured to the table

 "Two fat stacks of strawberry pancakes with homemade whipped cream, vegan bacon, and eggs. Coming soon to your breakfast table" he said that last part in a movie trailer voice

Y/N

You giggle at Steven's dorkiness and stand up, a smile now on your face

you walk to the table and Steven pulls out a chair for you

"M'lady" he says gesturing to the chair

"Thank you kind sir" you play along

He then goes to cook the eggs

You were honestly surprised,
you truly felt like doing something other than laying in bed all day,
and you actually wanted to eat something.
You had finally slept last night,
you had energy, and your headache was gone.
all thanks to Steven...
A blush crept onto your face at the thought of him.

You chuckled a bit.

"What's funny?" Steven turned to you, smiling

"Nothing, I was just thinking about the many things you've done for me"
You smiled
"Heh, you're perfect"

Steven walks over and dumps half the eggs he made on your plate, and the other half on his.
He then sits across from you.

 Steven goes to speak, but chuckles before he can even get his sentence out "I guess you could say I'm a GEM among stones" He says through giggles

You roll your eyes
but, decide to do him one better

"Hmm yup you're truly a DIAMOND in the rough" you say while pouring syrup on your pancakes

Steven laughs "Good one."
