Part 4

after picking up dallas from school and taking her to morgen I head to the firestation. I walk in and go to the locker to change.

I come out and walk to the kitchen to grab something to drink.

"you alright y/n" chim ask "yea im okay" I say walking out of the kitchen and sitting down on the couch.
I stared at the wall thinking.
I was startled when buck sat down "y/n? Y/n?" He says waving his hand in my face "huh?" "I was calling your name for a good 3 minutes" "oh I'm sorry I'm just tired" I say.

Then hen walks in.
She turn and looks at me funny "so you two are speaking?" She ask looking between buck and I. I shake my head no "he just asked if I was ok" I say getting up and rolling my eyes at him as I walk by.

As the night went on the alarm bell finally sounded.
Chim and hen get in the ambulance.
I walk to the firetruck and buck opens the front door for me to hop in. So I did.
He gets in behind me and I put the headset on.

We head to the scene which was a amusement park. The ride was stuck upside down and there was a guy hanging on.

"Alright buck, y/n climb up there then we're gonna have to move the truck into a better angle" Bobby says as buck and I get on the latter to go to the top of the ride. I was in front of buck

"Everyone stay still and stay calm we're going to get you down I promise" I yell.
The girls on the ride were screaming "is everyone ok?" I ask as we finally made it to them.  "No" one of the girls said
I was in front of buck we were facing eachother. "What's your name" I ask the guy hanging "Devon" he says "well I'm y/n and this is buck and we're gonna get you down I promise" "this is gonna be everywhere" he says "listen to me Devon don't pay attention to them. Pay attention to me. I need you to slide your arm through this loop" he says trying to get him harnessed in. Buck repositioned himself so he could reach for Devon. "Reach for my hand it's like 3 inches come on" buck says. I repositioned myself to in order to help buck so at this point we're hanging off the side of the roller coaster
"You've got to trust us Devon we're gonna get you down just take bucks hand" I say calmly.
"I can't" he says. Then he lets go I gasp as he hits the ground. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I look at buck he looks like he was about to cry. I had tears forming in my eyes but I had to suck it up.
We had 4 other people to get off this ride

After we got the people off the ride we did a interview with the news and then I got in the back of the truck and stayed silent. I was soon joined by buck.
"I don't know what happened" he says playing with his finger I didn't say anything "he was right there he could've grabbed my hand" he says and sniffles. I look at him and grab my face "look at me buck it is not your fault I promise In that moment people do irrational things and he let go. But In no way is it your fault" I say looking in his eyes. They were a beautiful shade of blue "I thought you hated me" he chuckles I let go of him and sit back down looking out the window "I do" I say as we were joined by Bobby and another firefighter to head back to the station.

When we get there I get out and go to the kitchen and decide to start cooking.

I make a salad and fettuccine

As I'm finishing up Bobby comes and looks over my shoulder "ooo that's smells great" he says
Buck comes up behind me and fixes himself a cup of coffee.
Then chim comes in and sits down.
I put food on the plates and I give one to buck "I'm not hungry" he says then I hand one to chim. "It's America buckaroo you don't have to be hungry to eat." Chim says.
They talk until hen walks in with the cop from the call the other day
"You guy don't mind I brought company to family dinner. Athens going through some things at home so she needs a bit of tlc"  "normally I wouldn't want anyone to join our secret firehouse meetings" Bobby says
I put a plate down for Bobby and then one for Athena and hen after Athena talks to buck and shakes his hand.
"I don't think we've properly met" Athena I smile at her "I'm Athena grant" she says extending her hand out to me "I'm y/n l/n" I say grabbing her hand
"Very beautiful young lady" she said as I sit down at the only seat left which is beside buck "thank you" I smile I see buck look at me "oh don't say that she might get mad" buck says "no because that's not what you said you said something completely different" I say digging into my food
"Bucks having a hard time about a call that didn't go his way. Y/n not so much" they look at me as we begin talking about losing people on calls and why we wear our uniforms

As we were eating and talking the alarm bell went off. I took one last bite before we rushed off and I hoped in the ambulance with hen. As we went to the call.

The next morning we had a call about some domestic dogs and soon after that we had another call which was a grass fire.

I ran and put my gear on as I got into the firetruck and we were off.

after a bit we were done I looked over and seen buck on his phone talking to someone.
I look at hen and she shrugs
We finish up and head back to the station

"Hey y/n do you think you could pull a few more hours tonight if that's okay I think we all are?" Bobby asked as I walked into the kitchen "uh yea that should be fine I just got to call my sister real quick" I say and walk away. He gives me a funny look
I press Morgens name and it rings a couple of times before she answers "hey y/n I'm at work I'm about to finish can I call you back?" She ask " I was just calling to ask if it was okay for Dallas to stay a bit longer I have to work a couple more hours then I'll come get her" I say "yea that's fine see you later" she says we end the call and I walk back over to hobby "yea it all good" I say "what is your sister like your mother or something" buck asked leaning over the counter I roll my eyes at him and walk away

I sit down on the couch and stare at the tv getting lost in my thoughts about what happened last night with the random man that's showed up at my door

The couch dented in beside of me "let's take a walk somethings bothering you I can tell" Bobby says I shake my head no "no I'm okay I promise it's just family stuff" "okay then I'm pulling you and you can go home" he says getting up and walking away I get up after him "wait no i don't want to leave I'm okay I promise" I say we were walking through the kitchen and everyone's attention was on us. I head buck chuckle.
Bobby turns around "then you wanna talk about it. It's not good to keep shit in one day you'll end up exploding with all your emotions" Bobby laughs a little "it's just things that's a touchy subject and no one's knows" I say "well I'm here if you ever want to talk you can trust me. And everyone else here" he gestures "thank you" buck smiles "shut it." I say looking at him Bobby laughs "and thank you I will come to you when I'm ready to talk about it" I say

It was past our shift and we alls stayed a few more hours

Buck left to go to a therapist because the guy we lost was bothering him. He returned with a smirk on his face like always I sipped on my mug and I was leaning over the kitchen counter he looks at me then looks away "you just fucked your therapist didn't you" he laughs "uh I don't think that's any of your business" he says coming over to me I stand up as buck got closer
He was taller than me so I had to look up a little 
He inches closer to me and he looks into my eyes  and he smirks "maybe if you keep it in your pants you might actually be ok" i turn around and walk off before it went any further "ouch" he says as I walk down the stairs to the ambulance to restock our supplies

Eventually I headed to get Dallas. And went home.
