I love my husband with all my soul,
But his love for me is not whole.
I long for his affection each day,
But he push me away.
I try to show him how much I care,
But he never seems to be there.
I wonder if he knows my pain,
Or if he even feels the same.
I try to be the perfect wife,
But it seems that it's not enough to ignite the love in his life.
My heart aches to feel his embrace,
But he's distant, leaving me in this empty space.
I pray for the day he'll love me back,
I dream of the day he'll take my hand
Until then, I'll love him still,
And pray that time will heal this deep-seated ill.
I'll hold onto hope and trust,
