:Edited:

The rest of my morning consisted of people staring at me and whispering, and of course Ryder drama.

Now it's finally lunch time. Normally I don't dread it, but right now I am cause I have to tell Beth what's up with Ryder.

I walked in the lunchroom, and instantly was dragged to the nearest table.

"Tell me." When I look up I see Beth sitting across from me.

"What?"

"Tell me about Ryder."

"Okay, okay. Well he came into my first and sat beside me, and he won't leave me alone. Yeah yeah, I know I have people staring at me, but it's because of him."

"Okay. That's it?" She held a blank expression.

"Pretty much. And he calls me kitten, which I really don't understand. And also he talks to only me, not other girls."

"Aw, he has a crush. But be carful okay?" Beth warned.

"What? I don't like him. He's annoying." I swear if Ryder likes me, I don't know what I'll do.

"Dude, just look at you two, y'all would be cute."

"Dont you dare say that again." I gave her a death glare.

"What we be talking about?" A voice said, and they plopped down next to me. I looked at Beth, and she had the expression of awe on her face. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Nothing Ryder. Go sit with your friends."

"I am. Your my only friend." He looked at me and smirked.

"Ha, yeah right. everyone here wants your attention like y'all have been friends forever, so go and find another girl to mingle with."

He put his hand over his heart and made a sad face like that hurt him.

"Oh come on, that couldn't have hurt you."

"To my ego, It did." He started to eat his food again.

"Yeah, it isn't like it hurt it much, you already have a big ego."

"Keep talking and you'll boost it back up kitten."

"See I told you Beth!" I pointed at him, and her both.

"Why do you call her kitten?" Beth asked.

"Because she's cute, and innocent." He smirked.

"Don't you dare call me cute and innocent! If anything I have attitude." I cut in.

"Whatever." He said, and finished off his burger.

The bell rang, and that means one class left. More like one class left with Ryder. But the bad thing about it, is we have gym together for our last.

"Ready for gym?" I heard Ryder's voice say as he caught up with me. I opened the door, and walked down the stairs into the open gym.

"Get away from me Ryder." I said.

"No."

"Why do you want to bother me so much? Like why are you following me around, and talking to me?"

"Your different." I stopped and turned to look at him.

"Different? How?"

"I don't know." he ran his fingers through his hair. "When I first looked at you this morning you seemed different. A good different."

"Well leave me alone, please."

I turned around and headed to the girls locker room. I didn't bother to look back at him, because I knew he's probably looking at me.

I changed into a pair of blue shorts and white shirt. Yeah it's basic, but I don't care. It's just gym.

I walked out, and stood waiting for the others so we can go run the track.
