Saving Him

Chapter 11

Recap: Casey went to Ryder's house and blah blah blah , then his mom came home. Some arguing, then finally Ryder popped that one question that will change everything. He asked Casey out. Then she said yes! Then she also confessed her love for him just like Ryder confessed to her!!!

"I love you Ryder." I smiled at him. I didn't expect those words to come from my mouth, but they did. Do I love Ryder? I think so.

I just stood there watching him stare at me. But this wasn't one of those uncomfortable stares, but a happy and pleasant one. He smiled at me, and in his eyes you could see them grow brighter.

"Do you realize how long I've been wishing to hear that from you?" He said standing up and walking towards me to where there was little space.

"Um.. How long?"

"Forever girl."

"What?" He laughed. He laughed. Like how was that funny?

He wrapped his arms around my waist, and pressed his forehead against mine.

"No. The day I started liking you, is the day I've been waiting for you to tell me that you love me back." I looked to see him smile.

"Yeah." Was all I could respond.

He leaned down a little further and pressed his lips on mine, pulling back slowly, letting his lips linger. But in that short few seconds fireworks went off in my stomach, and my heart raced. I know we kissed just a few minutes ago, but I missed the way his lips felt.

He pulled me into a hug, where his head was in the side of my neck, and my cheek laid on his shoulder. I felt his heart through his shirt, beating just as fast as mine. Do I do this to him? Have I always done this to him?

"I don't want to ever loose you." He commented. Now he's being cheesy.

"Well, don't hurt me, and you won't have to loose me."

"I don't plan on hurting you." His voice was small, but muffled, but I also heard him clear.

The door to his room slammed opened, and his mom walked in.

"What in the same heck is happening up here Ryder!" His mom yelled. I looked down at her hand which held a whiskey bottle. How much has she drank? Seems like a lot.. But it's been such little time.

"Say bye to your friend, you'll see her again. You've got work to do." She said in a stern voice.

He hugged me one last time.

"Bye princess." He whispered in my ear before letting go. I looked at him, then at his mom. If looks could kill I'd be dead right now.

I walked out of his room and passed her. When I passed her, whiskey raided off of her.

I'm guessing she chugged bottle after bottle.

I wrapped my arms around me, as I made my way home. I didn't feel like calling anyone, because I want to keep this on a down low for now. Just to make sure we will work out.

I honestly hope we will work out though..

After a good ten minutes I walked up the stairs and Onto my porch. I sat in one of the lawn chairs, and pulled out my phone.

Hey baby girl. I'm glad I can call you mine. I've been waiting for so long... But I'm glad your mine now princess. Love you. - Ryder

This is the text I see on my phone. He sent it 3 minutes ago.

I'm glad to call you mine also. Love you. - Me

I pressed send, and as soon as I did, the door opened.

"Hey sweetie." Said my mom. She came over and sat beside me.

"Hey." I breathed out.

"How was school?"

"It was good. Just any normal day."

"Oh. Okay." She smiled at me. "Why are you still out here though?"

"Need fresh air. And plus, it feels good out here. Not to hot, nor cold."

"You got a point." She laughed.

"Yeah."

"Well I'm heading in. Come on inside in a few." She said, standing up and heading back inside the house.

I looked up at the stars that began to show in the sky. How can a girl be so unlucky, and lucky at the same time?

Short chapter! But I'm back!! Suddenly I got the urge to write again, and here you go!!! Bye MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE !!! I shall be back to post more :)
