"Hey guys." Colton came up to us all cheery.

"What's up with you all happy?" Ryder laughed.

It's been a week since the whole incident. But I still can't forget how it all played out. I don't think Ryder can either. We get in those spells where we will just stare at each other and it's almost like we are speaking to each other through our minds. Mason said it kinda freaks him out when we do this. But I think this is the way Ryder ask if I'm alright.

My mom is still forcing me to study every night, but not as bad as she use to. I think she's starting to lighten up on me. Which is a good thing. Either that, or maybe because I told her that I told Ryder about what Tyler said. I honestly don't know.

"I got a date with a hot chick tonight." He smirked.

"An actual date, or a bang?" Ryder and Mason both laughed. But Colton's face fell from a smile to sad.

"No, I didn't mean it like that, Colton. I'm proud of you." Ryder went in to give Colton a bro hug thing.

"Her names Beth." Colton told the boys. But I had to pipe in.

"Beth? As in Beth Brookes?"

"Yeah, that's here. How did you know?"

"She's my best friend." I told him.

"Oh. Well she's pretty cute. And to answer your question Ryder," he said turning from me, to look at him, "Yes, a real date. I'm not going to bang her, then leave her."

"Colton!" The loud screech could be heard all the way down the hallway, because the people at the end turned to look up at where we were all standing. Beth came up to Colton, and gave him a hug, then kissed him.

But what I noticed is, she's wearing bright red lipstick, five inch red heels, and a tight, tight, red dress. This isn't Beth.

"Beth?" I questioned her.

"Oh hey, long time best friend." She made see best friend stood out clearly in her sentence.

"Why did you say it like that?"

"Well obviously we don't hang out anymore, so your almost like a old best friend to me. You only hang out with your boyfriend, and his two best friends."

"Look, I'm sorry Beth. But you were the one that made me mad. Then you left me and you haven't talked to me."

"No. Remember at the mall? You left me at the mall. I walked out to see you lip locking with your boy toy."

Gasp came across the hall way. I looked around to see everyone's attention on us. Holy cow. I don't like this at all.

"Then you left with the three boys, leaving me to shop alone. I called your name but you never answered. I called you, but Ryder answered saying you were asleep at his place. Gosh. Who knows what y'all were doing." She said that last sentence rubbing her thumb nail over her other finger nails.

She is not about to do this to me.

"First off, I went with them because I was sick and tired of seeing those post on Facebook about how I'm not even suppose to be with a guy like him. I left and ran into them. I didn't mean to. I tried to walk away but they wouldn't let me, then Ryder pulled me to him and he just kissed me! I didn't ask for it! Then we all went to his house to play a game, then watch movies. Halfway through he movie I fell asleep. It wasn't just us to there, Mason and Colton were both there. Geese Beth. You know what, your honestly being such a-"

I couldn't finish my sentence beiges Mason grabbed me, and put his hand over my mouth. I still said the words, but they were muffled. She better be glad they were.

The bell rung, meaning everyone that's in the hall right now is tardy. Ha. That's a lot of people.

Ryder and I walked to our first period class.

"What was that about?" He demanded.

"I'm tired of her! I honestly am. She wants to go and make crap up about me, I'll tell her off. I'm not about to deal with her.

We walked in the class room with gazes on us. Even the teacher.

"Miss Casey. They want you in the principals office." I looked at Ryder, and he just mouthed sorry. I say my stuff down at my chair and walked right back out, heading to the office. What now.

I opened the door, and Mason, Colton, Beth, and two other people I don't know, sat there. I sat down beside Mason.

About two minutes later the principal walked in and just stood in front of us.

"Who started this?"

"Beth." Everyone said, but not her.

"Who ended it?" He asked.

"I kinda did. If I did pull Casey away and put my hand on her mouth, she probably would have kept going and a fight might have started." Mason said.

"Actually the bell saved it." Said the girl student I don't know.

"Are you Casey?" The principal looked right at me. I nodded.

"What was said for you to go off like you did?"

"She started saying crap about me, saying I slept with Ryder-"

"I did not! I did who knows what y'all were doing!" Beth cut in, yelling at me.

"It's the same thing!" I yelled back.

"No it's-" she couldn't finish.

"Enough you two! Detention for a week. Both of you."

"But-" Beth and I said at the same time.

"No buts. I'm trying to keep this school under control. I don't need things like this happening around here. You understand? If this happens again, I'll have to choice but to suspend you for a week." I nodded in understandment. Beth just snorted.

"Get to class now." She demanded.

That was the cue for all five of us to leave. I pretty much sped walked al other way back to my class. I opened the door, shut it, and made my way to my seat. When I sat down, I slouched in my seat, seeing I have a few pairs of eyes watching me. I didn't care though. What a best friend she is.

~*~

I slammed my locker door closed since it's the end of the day. I just want to go home, get popcorn, and watch Netflix for the rest of the afternoon. I have no test, so no need to study, and no homework. My detention starts next Monday and ends on that Friday. But the thing that sucks about it, I'm going to have to deal with Beth the whole time.

Speaking of Beth. Since her and Colton are dating now, that means she's going to be hanging with us now, which means I'm going to have to put up with her more and more, which I'm not looking forward to. Ugh!

I pulled out of the school in my truck, and made my journey home.

Hey are you okay? You left school pretty quickly, cause I couldn't find you. Sorry I wasn't in the last two classes, I had to help my friend. Call me later and tell me what happened. -Ryder<3

I put my phone down on my bed next to me. I grabbed my big bowel of popcorn with extra butter and started munching on it, as I flipped through the different movies on Netflix.

Once decided on Mean Girls, I hit play, sat the remote down, and engaged my full attention to the movie. I've seen it more than five times, but oh well.
